BMW E91 N47 ENGINE LIMP MODE, COOLANT OVERHEATING SOLVED! 

If you are experiencing any issues with your BMW E91 320D E91 going into limp mode because it thinks the engine is overheating try change this sensor before changing the water pump and thermostat it worked for me. I did change the water pump and thermostat before doing this and it did not solve my issues it was just a broken temp sensor!
