Hi it’s the same one as the E60 will for both that’s what it was said on the Manuel just have to sue the color wiring by the instruction Manuel. Hi so I has similar issue it actually not you fault it’s actually the part you ordered there is 2 different model . The first knob is just a dummy and no light on shifter just on trim. And just makes shifter look fancy no light up. The Second model type it lights up on shifter and no light on trim . So please check your model you ordered and the manual specification. I had same issue so I returned the first one I got and ordered from a different Selller.

Press harder. Also, my one can get out with a bit of pressure, so maybe these knobs are all like that

Hi you have a give it a little force and hear the click and it will be set in and should not come off easily.

Does the OEM version of this shifter work or do you need to go aftermarket?

@@jamesdunphy2839 OEM does not work it’s only the after market which makes the shifter and light look like the F style the function is same no change.
