I never use the phone cradle dock in the center console. I always thought about getting rid of it to free up some space in the center console. today was the day! the whole process took me only 20-30 minutes. highly recommend it! its so satisfying when completed.

This video helped and I used it when doing this to my car, but you didn’t show a crucial part where you take off 3 of the wires and it took forever for me to figure it out lol

Thanks for the video. If I do not wish retain the cradle for future use, would it be possible to just lift the cradle and cut the wires - skipping the disconnection process (in the rear unit)?

@@fondoo what I miss the most from my E90 except for the chassi and steering is a beverage cooler instead of this stupid outdated adapter. Btw I'm happen that your type out F36 Gran coupé, I want to mod my 435i but most is labelled f32 aka the real coupé :(
