Yes. Not to mention GT racing today all looks the same. And they use no hypercars anymore like they used to in the past.

​@@sultanasophie8189 So the Gumpert Apollo GT3 that used to race in the Nurburgring series back in 2008 doesn't sell? The SCG 003 GT3? The Mosler GT3 ? Actually even the Ford GTE from 2017 was a lot more exotic than what we have now. Who wouldn't want those.

These sound super similar to the BTCC exhaust tonation but the hell of a lot louder

It's not surprising since these are basically prototypes pretending to be their road going versions.

@@flackojodye5829, Well, maybe wish is to strong of a word. 😅 But like i said, if it looks and sounds anything like it, and it’s a plus 400hp high revving engine, 1500kg overall weight i’d be down. Have you seen pictures of the P48 DTM engine? I think it looks stunning. Furthermore, i think four cilynder engines will eventually be implemented in futur M models. As a hybrid setup for M2, M3 and M4. Six cilynder engines will go to M5, M6 and up. Owning a sportscar is getting expensive in Some europeen countries due to co2 emession regulations. And it’s probably going to get worse. So if i can own a four cilyndered M2 instead or no M2 at all, i would quit happely take the four cilynder. But in a perfect world, sure they would still give us NA straight six cilyndered M cars. I’m affraid those days are gone.

@@Jb001jb thats true but still i wish that the straight 6 engines remain in the M2 and M3/M4 cars. a four cylinder never sounds as good as a straight 6 no matter how high it revs. a straight 6 engine is the most balanced and imo the best engine concept there is.

@@Belgian-Motorsport gt3 is derived from expensive sports car and modified aerodynamic that rise up the cost! Huracan 2million dollar was modified the body work that more expensive than the road version....

@@pichubball if all of the cars are the same then a fraction of a second advantage in qualifying determines the race for the most part..... imagine,changing track condition and so on will affect lap times... hence the one who got it perfectly at the perfect time gets a higher % of winning rather than a group of engineers getting their own different platform ahead by innovation.
