Hey Paul, I have 2018 F850GS and since day one I still have the same problem. TFT keeps forgetting bluetooth devices - both phone (Google Pixel 3 or 4) and my helmet. No software update has resolved the issue. I guess 20 years old bluetooth technology is something BMW cannot implement properly.
I am having same issue with my second 1250GS BMW gave me BS that it is a problem with my set-up, then my head set, finally I traded in my four months old 1250GS to another one, so disappointed with the Bluetooth one day works and next day is not even there, never mind that it takes forever to contact,
I have a 1250GS, and I dont have any problems 😂😂 But seriously, try pairing phone first, then pair helmet and satnav, etc, after. IE make phone primary. Hope this helps.
I’ve had my brand new 2020 r1250gsa for about 3 weeks, I’m having some issues with Nav 6 Bluetooth connections. Nav 6 is prompting me with a message saying Bluetooth Disconnected out of the blue. Happens quite frequently, I followed a RU-vid guide from WheelSpin Productions which many people say is brilliant. My setup Sena 30K + Nav 6 + iPhone XS. It’s such a shame I’m so so happy with the bike if only this worked 😔 I’ve been using a TomTom Rider for the past 3 years and I’ve not had any problems compared to Nav 6.
Unfortunately not. BMW did a podcast recently and were asked directly about this issue. They said it’s a known issue and they are working to resolve it. However the fact it’s been a known probably for at least 9 months suggests it’s not going to be simple to fix.
I can echo all the same problems with my 2020 GS using IPhone 11 Pro and Cardo Packtalk Bold. Dealer has no solution. I have paired and re-paired countless times and using various sequence to connect. All fail.
@@TheStammeringBiker is this update done at the dealership? Same issue here. 2020 gsa, packtalk bold, phone. Phone disconnect sometimes, but intercom is a constant issue. Specially after a short stop (e.g petrol)
