BMW S1000R - SPRINT FILTER (P-08) INSTALL 

I would suggest brentune, filter, decat. Those 3 should be done together as they all work together. If you decat your missing power and fueling without the tune. Filter makes it more efficient and when you fill out the brentune form it will ask you a lot of details, and options on filter. It’s worth it trust me, if your going to have the bike short term 1-2 years not worth it, resell value is nothing, if it’s long term I would drop the cash.

@@agwag9x19 hello man I change the stock one whit a bmc filter, and also change the exhaust, but stock headers, due to warranty, is needed a ecu flash? I went to 2 meccanic they said no needed. Also i notice that after install it smell more gasoline or oil from airbox is normal?

@@ilija6619 Hi there, I've never used a bmc filter before, usually Sprint Filter for BMW's are popular aftermarket filters, so to answer your question on the smell from airbox it could be the new filter coating they use if any? I've never had issues with K&N/Sprint Filters after installing on first start up. What I always do with my bikes is if you do one of the 2, you need to do the full set, so if you Flash your ECU (Brentune of course), swap out an aftermarket filter. If you change your exhaust or even decat and go full headers with exhaust, get the Flash and Filter. So what I'm trying to say is, if any of these 3 you are considering, get them all done at the same time. ECU Flash will ask you about filter AND exhaust setup (with or without stock/aftermarket/cat converter or none). Less headaches to do one step at a time, do it all at once and enjoy from there! If you are worried about warranty, then keep it as much stock as you can, you will only enjoy the original mapping/what the bike has to offer as its limited/restricted when it enters most countries. "Unlocking or unleashing" the full potential of any bike even a Ninja 300, noone worries about warranty, they are motorcycles meant to give you joy and happiness "safely of course!" sorry for the TLDR, but this is what I have done to all my bikes, and what I suggest. @@agwag9x19yes they have coat they cost like a k&N the smell is maybe becaouse of a lot of oil in filter, and i only see it when the bike is stop in traffic, when i ride 0 smell, and for the exhuast i use stock the stock cat whit a mivv exhaust legal whit slip on , from me the bike run smother thats all i have realized, but it doesnt have and ecu bcs the twice very good meccanic which race on track said no needed if you dont go for full exhaust. They say just how can put only the can and use all stock, or just a can put a can whit sport filter, Nothing wilk change maybe 1hp, the big change will come whit a full remapp& full echaust +filter

@@ilija6619 I agree, for now it’s minor performance if any at all. To maximize full potential on or off track you won’t be disappointed with my suggestion. Straight pipe needs an ECU flash and vice versa, otherwise your wasting money without doing it the right way. For now it seems everything you have now works, warranty in tact, now just ride and enjoy!
