There it is, hill start control. Such an incredible feature that makes everyday riding on an S1000RR that much easier and convenient. Let me know what else y'all want to see, thanks for watching!

Thanks I appreciate it! But to answer your previous question, yes this works in neutral as well! Something else to note, if you have HSC engaged and you turn off your bike, the HSC will deactivate!

Could you try the pit limiter, I always accidentally blip the throttle while trying to engage it

I have that on my R1250GS but because I’m always on the rear break at a stop, I’ve never really used it yet and I live in a hilly area.

My manual says for the s1000xr I shouldn't use hill assist for gradients of more than 40%

HSC is a must for any heavy bike! What models have this feature ? On a wet surface how is behave ?

Agreed! I believe the BMW S1000RR, S1000R, and XR come with this feature as standard. Not sure about the GS line. It does work in the rain, I would just not recommend it!

Quite often for me hsc gets engaged when I’m stopped with my foot on the rear brake I am wondering why when it shouldn’t do that

I recommend that you double check your settings and make sure that HSC is not automatically enabled, otherwise it will automatically determine if you are on a slope high enough to engage it even if you only use your rear brake!

@@MarzonTwo thanks I did check this morning and it’s set to manual. I recently started to notice it happening a lot today has happened twice so far with foot on the rear brake only. Going to take it In for servicing next week and inquire about it.

@@lazperez979 Yeah that sounds like a good idea, you have me curious to know if the rear brake also engages that feature because I always thought it was only the front brake that could engage it. 🤔

@@MarzonTwo that’s what I want to find out. But I think it’s an error of some sort for sure because I have tried to engage hsc with the rear and it doesn’t work. I’ll find out next week and let you know.

How many varirnts are available in s1000 rr?

I think it depends on what area you are located in. My local BMW dealership only carries two, one being the M package that I have, and the other being the "base" model however they order the base models with all the upgrades.

imKay is a great down to earth guy, he's worked hard to get the same bike that I have (S1000RR M package) AND an M1000RR! To mention just two of his bikes haha

What the hell are u talking about the (H) on the dash is hand break u can read it on the manual ist not a hill start or whatever u talking about

Please refer to page 184 of the official 2022 BMW S1000RR handbook and carefully read the content a couple of times. I'll be happy to clarify any questions you'll probably still have..
