and @topmaster999 can you test it also with DTC off completely with DTC-Wheelie on setting 1 to see if it makes any difference as well as suggestion above? I doubt it but good to know for sure.
Did you try highest wheely possible and put your dtc on minus 1 or more? Maybe it effect the wheelie? I have exact same bike than you and learn as i go along. I ❤ it because this bike is indeed crazy fast.
I’m surprised it seem hard to do a wheelie with this bike ? I’ve done my share of wheelies when I was younger. My Suzuki Motocross RM 250 2 stroke would lift at will. Once, I wheeled my friends Honda CBR 929 2004. Basically, turn the throttle and up it goes. Does all this electronic stuff prevent you from getting the bike up ? Even when you set it properly ? Does the other settings prevent you from flipping over ? If that is the case cool. I was more a power wheelie guy. The perfect balance point is not something I’m familiar with. I invite you to check out Sarah Lezito she is a wheelie goddess.
The Bren Tune (BTMoto) will make a difference because you're not getting 100% throttle in stock configuration as each gear is limited and with RPM, after tune you will have 100% throttle in every gear at every RPM, so yes.
@@SydneyMotorcycleCommunityGroup I think you misunderstood my response, the stock tune doesn't give you 100% throttle, even if you give input of 100%, the tune corrects this, giving you true output of your input demand of the bike.
@@topmaster999So, I have a 2024 street triple RS, fully loaded; pipe, tune, dyno’d ohlins, brembo etc. It’s a freakin beast in the turns, but the big bikes walk on me when the road opens up. Seriously thinking about going to a S1000 “R”. Am I making a mistake? I also have a gen5 zx10r for trackdays.
@@Lifeofrejkjaer you know what I mean. The majority of people doesn't have the skills, and yet they do stupid things... Ferrari and most hyper cars have a drift mode, and makes very easy to do it, without that system, probably you'll crash
Only a computer can do a perfect wheelie. I love my S1000rr and wheelie control. Wheelies should be easy, smooth and safe, not difficult and dangerous. Especially on a $25k + bike.
I can say for certain the LIF on the MT09 lets you hold wheelies as long as you have power to do so. You can even hold at WOT and it won’t budge. I assume the R1 has the same but I’ve never tried. Apparently Ducati can do the same and it’s either them or Aprillia that even let’s you adjust the height through some setting.
Its a huge debut between bikers and you just made it worse with your title, wheel controll does not wheelie for you and keep the wheel up, its designed to put the front wheel down. Arggggh
Hi, the WC is shit. In high Position 12 degrees Maximum. The Ktm 1390 can in Pos. 5 22,5 degrees. I think the 2025 M 1000 R have a better WC.... Greetings from Wild-West Germany Diddy BMW M 1000 R Same Modell 18000 km
