Thank you very much mate Next Sunday I will be going through all the performance parts on that bike , it’s got plenty of stuff put on this week , remap was just the start . Thanks for the wonderful comment
@@ChasingTenths I’ve actually got a S1000rr on order (almost went for the RSV4). I’ve heard on the forums BMW have locked the most recent ECU’s from July 21 to prevent remaps as part of euro 5 legislation.
@@Throttle.Monkey BMW and Aprilia ECU have always been the toughest to electronically unlock or modify but a good remap personnel always a way or a meaningful software So don’t worry Should be ok This is a 2021 bmw , had no issues It takes time This took nearly all day to do but nicely sorted now. I bet you are excited about the BMW
Absolutely mate, that’s why I took it to a place who are super realistic with their bhp figures, the dyno is super accurate , they run the race team , accuracy is so important. we could have put race filter and really chased bhp figures but the aim was to have manageable power for road and track (if taken there)
As usual Abhi, very classy presentation-introduction . quite informative, especially when you explain that this specific customer isn't a track day rider-racer ; then it's nice to know that you still can optimize the fueling to extracts the very best of the motorcycle even if you only ride on the roads. i liked the explanation about the fact a slick may spin on the drum, then providing slightly inexact readings because of this phenom ; it's a factor we should take into account. what i'm retaining from this video is that people must be warned that a 3000 dollars full exhaust system won't makes the machine twice as fast than with the stock exhaust; sometimes ,depending on what you intend to do with the bike,a simple slip on is just enough ; it provides a better exhaust sound, and the opportunity of working on the fueling for a more flexible engine, and much better throttle response, which is all you need on the streets. i'd really like to see you doing a face to face between the M1000 and the S1000RR ; what elements differentiate both bikes. keep going on Abhi, your videos are always interesting, and the quality of your work is increasing at each video.
Thanks very much Sylvan , as always , super detailed attention to detail viewing by you . I am glad you understand so many crucial bits I am doing a small video on the S1000RR soon So I will see if I can get hold of a M1000RR and do a side by side That would be epic Thanks again Always appreciate your comments
Back with another amazing informative video. Thanks a lot for sharing the knowledge and guys at PCR performance is amazing. Thanks a lot for introducing them. No more sending ECUs to USA for mail in flashes
Good job mate, yeah don’t post ECU’s here and there , just get it done properly. These guys at PCR know what they are doing It takes sometimes the whole day to do it , just to get it perfectly right
Absolutely Dave, well said, BHP boasting is such a waste of time, power needs to be smooth and manageable , air fuel ratios and smooth torque curves is the key . I am really tempted to do a video of going up and down England one day , using different dynos with the same bike and see how various dynos differ :) Thanks for watching
Has my gsxr750 retuned here following a full yoshimura system an supporting mods. Wouldn't go anywere ells, totaly changed the bike for the better. They realy no there stuff. Now saving hard for a 2020 rsv4 an it will go to pcr for the same service. Brill little insitght to what goes on behind the scenes 👌🏻👍
That’s great to hear Phil, I had a GSXR K6 full Yoshimura too, loved it but now it’s all Aprilia lol. I really miss the reliability of the Suzuki though . Thanks for commenting and appreciating the video mate
Thanks mate, always appreciate your comment . good to see you featured on that Indian Biker Girl’s video by the way I didn’t know that girl existed lol It just popped up on my feed
Ok mate, excellent point. I will do a video with the Superstock R1 and Superbike R1during winter and let’s see how much info I am allowed to share. By the way, Go to Sylvian Guintoli’s RU-vid channel , he also went to PCR Performance to get his Suzuki remapped with full Akrapovic, Sylvian goes through different remap details which you will find very interesting. Guintoli lives an hour from my place .
Ooohh that’s fantastic I am really glad I could help These guys really know their stuff and have been working on the BMW since the new one came out in 2019 The dyno is super accurate too
Love the content my man, incredible! I have a 2021 S1000rr and 2020 RSV4! I ordered the Extreme Components GP Evo rear sets for the Aprilia and I'm currently deciding on a slip-on exhaust. Any suggestions?! I was dead set on the full titanium Akrapovic Shorty GP for the S1000rr but more & more people are recommending the full Titanium Akrapovic Evolution longer can.
Thanks Jason, very much appreciate the compliments mate. You have two very stunning bikes. Do not go for shorty for any of them . Go for the longer versions . Aprilia as you know have akrapovic maps suited to the bike , the year , the model and BMW is better with longer exhaust too, you even hear the tone better, rather than the loud wrath which is constantly angry. You can modulate the exhaust note with the longer can with the twist of the throttle and it sounds lovely. I’d definitely go akrapovic long
on top of ABHI answer,i'd add to it that those shorty aren't very great for the engine itself.something related to the lack of back pressure provided by short cans....regular lenght FTW !! LOL
@@sylvandespres7654 that’s true, I really wanted to mention it , but I didn’t because the shorty lovers will go crazy in the comment section. I like to keep it peaceful lol 😆
Good point mate, these people used to run the BMW bikes for British superbikes and British Superstock , so they have a lot of experience of what works best so that’s why they use that :) Thanks for watching
See similar power and illegal on the road in most countries, noisey AF destroying the neighbourhood and more noise and emissions pollution. A Brentune on standard exhaust and a cheap 150 quid slipon would pull more power, sound good but be relatively quiet and legal! Just needs a fairing extender to cover the fugly boxes.
