Using a torque wrench wouldn't have kept your wheel from falling off, a little silicone on the back of the wheel would have.

Hi Chris, hope you are well buddy ... after years of watching your expert videos and 20 years of loving K Bikes, I have an issue I can't understand, on my K100 RS (favourite model after owning K75, K75S, K100 RT, K1100 LT) I find it needs to be angled away from me to go on the main/centre stand, the stand assembly seems in alignment and serviceable, but the bike only goes to the stand if it is pushed away from the rider first (towards the right of the bike looking forward) then back for the centre stand. Strangest thing I have seen on these bikes, not new to you Chris, what could cause this? Steve :-)

Steve, this applies to all K75 and K100 models prior to the 1992 K100RS with the 16 valve cylinder head: Your right side centerstand leg is giving up. The right leg of your centerstand is weak from corrosion. That's why there's supposed to be a plastic plug in the end of each tube. Replace it with the assembly from the 16 valve bikes or have a welder repair your original stand. Don't use the centerstand until you are certain that the leg is not weak or after it is replaced or repaired. Don't let your bike fall over from a collapsing centerstand! Good luck to you,, Chris.

You keep making bets like this and you’ll be in trouble. 😂

In Europe the coolant without silicate is often red. This kind of coolant wasn't available at the 80ies here, so the one with silicate is the original one. Color isn't important. The one with silicate you must change every two years. If you switch to the one without silicate you can wait longer till the next change, but you have flush the whole system before, you should not mix them because there is the risk of foaming up. Correct me if I am wrong.
