Hi, there are a few vids with super annoying music in them, horrible intros and bad sound quality - so I am removing or fixing them this week, ready for the new batch to be released.
well when you will have o er 250k miles on the clock you would not be able to reset oil as in your video. It need to be coded.. find out the procedure for me please.
Hi, the only way around that is to disable the oil service light warning system entirely - which means that you will never get warnings again. It is not normal coding, but it does require the ISTA D program from the BMW diagnostics suite. If you don't want to find and install the entire suite, then should be able to get it done at any BMW specialist. Within INSTA D there is a service program in the Tester that will permanently switch off the CBS oil change warnings, and it can be found under Actions-->Service Functions, then choose '04 Maintenance and handover inspection' in level 1, 'CBS vehicle data correction' in level 2, and 'Engine oil deactivation' in level 3, then press the 'start search' button. You then want to run the 'SCBS_6006 Engine oil deactivation' program. I hope you'll let me know how it goes!
