I like both... I always liked Range Rovers a lot.. they re designed timeless.. But no doubt that X7 is more modern with more luxury features and charakter

Both these cars are stunning, but the nod goes to the X7 the Range is a masterpiece, no doubt, it just has a bit more flaws than the X7 such as long term ownership, they are best leased because they cant stand the test of time, the beemer has its own flaws but it is the better car here, by all means..
I don't think people who buy Range Rovers would think twice about an X7, regardless of whether it's better to drive. Personally can't stand the latest BMW design. Love the videos as always though Mat 👍
iDrives are good until they break being a Modern BMW it will do and tbh even though land rover overall has worse reliability i come across less big horror stories on range rovers and land rovers than BMW's Mainly X3-X5's and 5 series worse i have seen is 1 engine rebuild on a X5 at 60,000 miles and two engine replacements with an X5 and a 550i with the 4.4 V8 both around 2010-2011.Range Rovers Mainly i dealt with are Electrical Gremlins and a couple of Air Suspension replacements Bad but compare to a New Engine ALOT Cheaper.
Ye, the Range has that magnificent and unique talent of being so unreliable, you can’t make a 500 miles trip, without clenching your butt every time you step on the accelerator.

I have had two Range Rover Autobiography's over the last five years. The last one I bought new November 2017 brilliant cars. I have driven in excess of 100,000 miles wthout incident. Anybody that says they are not worth the money has never driven one.

I am agree with you, nothing depreciate faster than RR. If you look at secondary market of ~ 10-years old cars, for instance, BMW E70 vs RR, the second is 1,5 times cheaper
Until it breaks. My bmw had only one issue in 2019 and after it was solved its going awesome. My boss land rover us full of problems. Not even one year since he purchased it. Lol

It's got the look, for sure - the current Range Rover design is mean and sturdy. I always assumed that its extreme squareness comes at quite an aerodynamic/fuel efficiency cost compared to equivalent models such as the X7. But people will pay for it. Suspicion is that the X7 is the superior vehicle in most ways, but I'd be very pleased to own either naturally.
The range rover is still better than the bmw in my opinion it doesnt matter if its unreliable or not i think range rover have really improved in terms of reliability in years
It's distinctive and people talk about it - I suspect BMW are delighted with that. Cars kind of all look the same these days, so a distinguishing feature like the BMW grill (even if it is objectively a bit ugly) is like gold dust.
I have both cars (wife drives the bmw) and I love them both. The high seat and comfort of the rover is awesome but the bmw is definitely sportier. Overall can’t go wrong with either one.
How? The front looks like a plastic mold had a sticker slapped onto it instead of actually molding the grille and headlights. The interior is extremely poorly designed (made out of spare parts in the workshop) and the tech is outdated.

*If i was to go for looks i would easily buy the range but for tech and reliability i would buy bmw, but if i had money today i would easily buy the range rover if i fail to get a 2019 Land cruiser zx in the same shop*
I’m huge fan of both brands but Range Rovers are just timeless, they will always be special. 15 years later, Range Rover will still look good while other similar vehicles will look outdated.

Man, I moved to India, and although vehicles are hella overpriced out here, the X7 is half the price of the Rangie here. Hence, I’ve already seen a heck lot of these things just two months later.

Range rover is really nice inside and looks fantastic. I had 2 supercharged before 2010 and 2018 brand new, but let me tell you it's not reliable at all. King of problems and malfunctions. Think twice. I'm driving a bmw X6M now and I'm over the moon.

jh5kl but guess what its still way better than any bmw, the mercedes Gwagon doesnt have anything fancier than other mercedes but its way more expensive , this bmw is simply hideous in and out it looks cartoonish
@@xslobeats2955 it can do all of those except for pull a g63 which is due to the weight disadvantage. But in regards to the x5m being a high performance suv it’s the perfect all rounder and beats the g63 hands down
@@santana9537 but it cant to it as easy. And it does not have the same wading depth. There is only the G63 6x6 that beats it in that field. The X5M is probably ok at offroadning. But if I was going on a rocky mountain trip and could choose between the two of them. The Range Rover would be my go to choice
But brand is British. It wasn't founded in India. Plus Range Rover isn't made in India. It's made in Solihull UK. This car is expensive and difficult to make.

Because it is. It’s a subsidiary of Tata industries which is yes from India. Jaguar and Land Rover are still designed and manufactured in the UK. They do also have manufacturing plants all over the world. Their budgets are controlled by Tata, but they can develop and manufacture within those guidelines in England
I Love The Range Rover Specially All Black and To me Doesnt matter the 3 rows the driving experience of the BMW, The Range Rover Should Win this test and You Have to Considering that the people at this price point didnt buy this things for the driving is just only for the status and the Range Rover Is A Simbolism of Status
