You know I have a soft spot for this BMW which I consider the best sounding GT3 race car I've ever heard. Snooping among old folders I found some scenes I've never upload about three BMW Z4 GT3s in action at Monza Circuit during a test of March 2015, which was probabily the last time I heard that divine V8 sound. Enjoy!!

These little monsters are amazing! Just an engine, loads of grip, loads or aero, and that sweet sweet sound! It's the only car in the world that stays exciting when on the pit limiter!

Been a few years but I still love the rawness of this car. The vicious backfiring, the old school Gearwhine, I put it right up there with the C7.R in pure rawness (and the new Lexus RC-F GT3 now that I remember).

In IMSA, we got the Z4 GTLM which made more power and revved to 8300RPMs. Probably the best sounding car on the circuit.

Even the pit limiter sound is insane! God I love this thing so much. They should've kept the same engine in the M6 GT3 just so we could keep this sound.

I do prefer the Z4 on sound too, but to be honest i really like the different type of sound you get from the M6 lol. its unique in a good way imo

Every car has a unique sound, I never get why people always say " sounds better than this". When the M6 get's replaced there will be another person saying they miss the M6 turbo sound and the new car is shit :\

Who knows, everyone has their own opinion. Personally I think the M6 is unique, it sounds quiet on power I will grant you that but it sounds great off power when the wastegate is going crazy like a old school rally car.

The only things missing from you channel are a bit of DTM cars. I had the chance to experience their 4 litre V8 sound live, and the noise is groundbreaking. (I mean current DTM)

It's the rev-limiter, which cuts the ignition to stay within the speed limit in pitlanes. Even though the injection is stoped as well, there always gets some unburned fuel into the very hot exhaust, where it is then burned. This makes those awesome crackles :P

The sound of the Huracan and the R8 is not verry appealing to me. They are just verry loud I think... Over the years I liked the sound of the Z4 and the SLS most.
