Federer is looking so good here. Nailed the bomber jacket. So well positioned , so calm, so well spoken. Seems 2018 is even better than 2017. He has nothung left to prove that makes him even more dangerous.

What makes this guy so successful, aside from the obvious talent, is his incredible empathy for the people and world around him. He's been touched in a special way.

Yes! His talent is enormous but personality also affects how you develop and approach things - which in term can hurt or help you when you approach matches. Love the comment!

Always interesting to hear his interviews. We all know how great he is on the court and he's also the best athlete from all sport to be interviewed. I don't get bored listening to him...

Roger Federer is what you get when you've been blessed with crazy amounts of talent and wizard-like skills AND have the wisdom, intelligence, experience and discipline to make the most of them. If he weren't so damn decent I reckon I'd despise Federer for having won not only the jacketpot but all the bonus balls in the great lottery of sporting life.

It is always so refreshing to hear Roger speak! Way to go Roger! :) I don't mind Roger play upto 48 years, if he can. Because it is not about the age, but about how long his game is ahead of the competition. The longer Roger stays, the more it shows the younger generation has to rise upto! :)

to put everything in context.. if pete sampras would have had the longevity of fed he would have won the AO in 2008 and be the nr.1 player by Indian wells... that's when he was 36y old.. IT's pretty much 2 tennis generations later after he retired. 1gen. being fed's with hewitt, rodick, safin, ferrero. all being world nr1s. and 2.gen. with Rafa(became world nr1 that y), Novak(who won AO that y) and murray USO finalst that y. so all the ppl/haters saying weak era fed or he doesn't have good competition at the moment don't realise what an absurd tennis monster Fed is. he is not only hanging around the sport no he is the world nr. 1 and dominating the field and players 15y younger than him

Tonight on this slow surface it's about Federer pulling Chung out wide to make Chung impart pace on his forehand when he is stretched out wide and Federer uses his pace to hit down the line

Just what I was thinking😂. Even remembers Pete's serve wasnt quite so good. But no doubt he's been asked about it A LOT by friends and peers. Still, funny he remembers nothing about the match streak leading into his best ever year. He'd been dominating so long it had become normal/nothing special unlike CC Wimbledon 1st time and beating best grass court player ever known then.
@ro8erthat-209

+Tk Muns, I know right, Roger almost actually does a play-by-play of the serves, volleys, and winners of the Sampras game. Unbelievable. Heck I can't even remember what I had for dinner last Sunday and this guy remembers a game, set and match over 15 years ago. Roger is the GOAT indeed.

I hate it when people call Djokovic a ball pusher, but Coric is definitely a ball pusher, no discernible strategy, no great weapons, complete dependence on his opponent's mistakes, Roger playing at 65% should easily destroy him.

These Americam journalists can't let it go...Sampras had the record.. it's gone, old news. Federer's career did not start with that win, it started with many hours of off court hard work. Smfh
@tommymas1

Colin Nothing to do with American journalists. Pete Sampras was at the match and he commented about Roger so naturally journalists followed up. Stop making everything nationalistic and get a life.
