There are so many things to learn from this great man. If you feel you have achiaved everything in life and have earned the right to be arrogant, just watch Roger Feders interview and learn how to keep feet grounded. Love this guy.

Fedrer is special in so many ways. He is a world hero and champion. It’s wonderful to watch him . It does not matter whether I He wins a particular game , he is just worth watching as a sportsman, as a person and as a family man. May God Almighty bless him.

To win often your head has to be calm,positive & never think of losing with a top body performance which Roger has.His coaching,parents family back him up.Go Roger.

So honest, unpretentious, eloquent and animated. The reporters literally eating each word from his hands.

Literally?? They were actually - not figuratively - eating from his hands? Clearly people will stop at nothing to get close to the Mighty Fed! But honest, unpretentious, eloquent and animated, yes - and it's wonderful to see such genuine openness in someone so much in the public eye.

He is actually wrong about one thing.. He did get to world Nr. 1 right after Wimbledon the day after he beat Andy Murray in the finals in 2012. What he probably remembers is the day he broke Sampras’ record as most weeks at Nr. 1 (287) because THAT happened when he was at vacation. The first week after the Wimbledon win he only tied with 286 so the big celebration came a week later.

Although Roger has alot of points to defend from 2017, there are tournaments he could still add points to his ranking total with. Roger went out of Montreal somewhat early with injury last year, he skipped Cinci with injury, went out early at USO, and skipped Paris with injury. With all that Roger was only 150 shy of year end no1 in 2017. It was right in his grasp. So even if Roger skips clay this year, he can still improve on last year's performance.

If Rafa is injured I'd like to see him play RG. He'd have another shot at the calendar slam! Only he knows if that would be too hard for the grass court season, but wouldn't it be unreal for him to finally get the calendar slam at 36, and then of course the gold medal at 38!

there is no god. federer has worked so hard in his life to achieve this, talking about god is delusional and insulting.

Michael Darlington Ha haaa.. I feel like you are joking....🤣🤣 I bet u, no matter what you do.. if you try to be like Roger and train double that of #Federer you will never be even able to achieve what the shadow of Roger can...🙌🏻 What I meant to say is.... #Roger is good guy on/off court that even God is with him 🤗. And I woul say God is there everywhere 🤗
@michaeldarlington3662
@michaeldarlington3662 6 лет назад
Youre obviously simple-minded, but I will just say that the idea that there is a god, and that he is FOR Federer, would mean that he is AGAINST his competition, which is so idiotic to be laughable, yet unsurprising to hear from a theist. It's like in war, when both sides claim god is only on their side.

Federer is 36 and 10 months here. Nole is already 36 and 7 months and world number 1. Plus 100 more weeks at number 1. Nole surpassed whatever fed did

Federer last man standing atm, djockovic out Andy murray out nadal who knows, think nadal will want to work even harder now but will his body let him. I see nadal getting back, I don't know about novak I really don't, his game requires full physical force. Yeah fed as long as he doesn't over do it should be able to maintain. Don't think should play the French. Apparently djokovic be bk in March one to watch.
@Wouterium
@Wouterium 6 лет назад
Interesting comment, I fully agree with you. By not playing every tournament he wanted Fed has basically outlasted the rest in terms of physical capabilities. I felt so bad for Nadal though, would've really loved to see him beat Cilic in the last set :( I sure hope Nadal will come back strong too, not just because I love the way he fights, but because Nadal is Federer's biggest motivation to get back out there, and give everything to be the best again, and maintain in. But yeah I'm sceptical about Nole's return too. I think it would be a great experience for him if he could efficiently come back again. Bug Murray... I dunno about him, I really don't. Sometimes you feel like he doesn't want to be out there, but when he's off the courts, or in facebook posts he always seems so much more connected to the sport, which is kinda cute to see too, since I wouldn't have expected that in any way. I wonder what Murray's role will be in the top 5 in the future. Personally, I don't see him ever climbing much higher anymore...

He’s a very good clay court player but he wants to win Wimbledon more so he will inevitably conserve his energy and body for Wimbledon. I’d love to see him at Monte Carlo but He is 36 so he’s got to be careful. Shame but reality. He has to watch his back..

Tesla Death Ray I prefer the idea of Fed on grass whilst the others slug it out on clay.
@TheGreyj
@TheGreyj 6 лет назад
Yeah its just not a smart decision for him to play on clay, just coz he is 36! Of course we’d love to see him and win on the clay but it more likely will have an impact on his grass season coz the gap is not a lot after RG! And clay does take a toll on the body
@saint698
@saint698 6 лет назад
TheGreyj but he has no points t defend in clay him winning 1 or 2 rounds in a few tournaments will help him out
@TheGreyj
@TheGreyj 6 лет назад
Dan Fisak I wish it was that simple...A lot of preparation goes into being ready to play the clay season and it won’t be worth all that to win a few rounds in a couple tournaments...He is definitely well off resting after Indian Wells and Miami and preparing for the grass..I think he’d prefer winning more slams than extending his stay at No.1...He’s just playing incredible and if he maintains his schedule as he does, he has a great shot at Wimbledon and USO

IF Roger defends the sunshine double, he should really consider playing RG. Nobody wins all the time, it's better to have a lost in clay than in grass.
