I got the night crew down at the freezer building finally; they were unloading a few new cars for them to get loaded up later the next day. The rock train was heading up north because they had some track damage because there was about six inches of rain. Other videos are the local yard crews during switching operations.

Oh, man! You're lucky to see something else besides H2 and H3 painted GEVO's and Dash 9's! A BN-painted rebuilt GP39E, rebuilt GP39-2E, a ATSF-painted GP40X, a BN Cascade-painted SD60M, and a BN caboose! Wow. Awesome catches!

That K3LA on the SD60M RULES!

@SarackBucks You are correct, it is near an airport. The dome at 2:38 you see to the right of the engine is a weather radar; the other tower at 2:55 you see in the background is the air control tower.

My own personal rule, I never shoot any video unless I have a tripod, no matter what the power is. Quality over everything!
@zachlundy3504
@zachlundy3504 12 лет назад
I did not have one at this time as you can tell. Also if I did, some videos wouldn't have one because it takes time to setup and still get a good shot. However, I now do have a tripod.

Thank you. The following is a respone to your statements: 1. If you watch more recent videos, you can see that I now have a tripod. 2. In fact, they are set up like that for a reason, they usually do not stop like that. They just happened to today because they have to uncouple a car. Plus this was like at 3am. 3. That rock train couldn't of moved faster because their was track maintenace less then a mile up and he proceeding at restricted speed. 4. They use that so they don't ride ladder.

Nice videos! Get a tripod to make them steady. First crossing signals were turned on too early. No need to have stopped that semi. What a shame that the rock train held up traffic so long. Should have been moving faster. Nice seeing a caboose in use. Thank you.

I'll repeat, I have gotten a tripod last year; this was uploaded in 2011. With the light sometimes it was hard to get due to the amount of street lights and the time I had to setup due to the train was coming quick and I didn't want to miss the activation. At this time was one of my first videos since I had this new camera, so I was still learning. Thanks for Watching

Great use of audio great location audio the way you got the turbocharger spoiling down.. Great use if the EMD engine audio BUTTTTT LIGHT YOUR scene .. Use key fil and bakc lights so your camera is not struggling for light and place your camera on a tripod and use a locekd camera position.. Great camera angle ,,,, Very astute camera position and angle capturing that city feel Nothing quiet like a turbocharged EMD in yellowbonnett

Also, do you have any idea how lucky you got on these videos? You have two of the last four operating GP40Xs on any Class I railroad in this video set. I am legitimately jealous. I had no idea ANYONE still operated them, let alone a Class I.
