Board Bow in under 60 Minutes

I have never tried Titebond on siyahs. The course specifies what glue to to use. This bow is going to be turned into a takedown in a video released later this week so I needed a removable adhesive. Be sure to subscribe to see my latest video.

It depends on your draw length and draw weight. I think these are rated for #45

I do that too. Starting with a board eliminates a lot of variables.

This one is #40. Yes with good shot placement it will kill a hog

@@BurningRiverBushcraft Wow, I had no idea that stuff was so strong. I don't know why, I have no reason for it but I've just always thought it wasn't great stuff. I guess because I've seen it mostly used making silly crafty stuff. I was just thinking of taking a course the other day actually, then I saw how much they charged at the place like three hours away from here. Nope. I haven't done a lot of wood work, but I've done enough that between that and reading and watching vids I can maybe pull off a simple build. I think I'm going to try a simple hickory self bow for bowfishing. Maybe do some recurved tips. Just need to find some decent wood that isn't priced as gold. I didn't like the looks of our homedepot crap. I could probably cut some around here if I ask some neighbors, but I don't want to wait til next year to use it. Nice bow BTW.

Shipping is prohibitive, and I could sell a good bow to someone who dry fires it, or leaves it strung. If I had a local way to sell sell them, it would be as w floor tillered stave.
