Introduction to cruising Chesapeake Bay in 2024. This series will focus on sailing to various destinations on Chesapeake Bay. I will cover anchorages, towns and cities.
This is going to be a lot of fun! Come along for the adventure. January and February will focus on boat preparations and some cruise planning. Then in March I will do the final boat preparations such as bottom paint and hull, keel and rudder inspections. Finally in April I hope to begin some regional cruising, lower VA. Then heading north to the upper bay along with many of the tributaries.
