Guys like Larry, Juju, Brian Shaw, and Eddie Hall all have done arm wrestling videos recently.The power community would be introduced to a different way to exhibit power and strength. The winner challenges a pro. Thanks for your work and the time you put in to do it.

I just don't understand how anyone who knows the history of the sport of arm wrestling would dare label anyone other than John Brzenk as the undisputed GOAT of the sport. It's indisputable. Devon would need to go undefeated for a good 10 years in super matches before he could be mentioned in the same breath as John. I know people love to say that the competition these days is so much greater than when Brzenk was dominating, but that's only relatively true. John was facing the best of the best in the world back then, just as the guys today are facing the best of the best today. It's the accomplishments that count. Not to mention, many of the same guys who were top of the sport back then are still around today! Arm wrestling in the one sport that, barring injury, is sustainable way past middle age. Until someone goes undefeated in super matches for 10 years straight, John B. is going to remain the GOAT.
@clash5j
@clash5j 3 года назад
By most accounts, John was first considered to be the #1 guy, for the first time, in 1987. He was last considered to be the #1 guy in 2007. That's a 20 year gap from when he became #1 for the first time and the very last year he was considered #1. Not to mention, that he was considered to be #1 for so many years in between 1987 and 2007! So, to accomplish the feat that John did of being #1 and then being #1 again 20 YEARS later, someone like Larratt would have to be #1 in 2028, Cyplenkov in 2033, Levan in 2038. lol. I'm not holding my breathe for any of those things to happen. I'm with you. I just have to shake my head when someone comes up with any argument that John is not the GOAT

@Pound for Pound Armwrestling What is it about John Breznk that gives him this extraordinary ability? How far away, genetically, are the rest of us? Is that the primary question... or is John's ability the result of a lifetime of mastery, both in fundamental training and table tactics?
@ryanbluebowen
