I didn’t care for Full House or the videos show, but Saget was actually pretty damn funny as a stand up. The first time I saw one of his acts was long after those shows and I was shocked at how good it was. I was expecting total cringe

Out of all the celeberties of South Park, Bob Saget was the most tame.

What I liked about classic South Park's portrayal of celebrities was that it was a more general, silly, actively exaggerated and cartoony portrayal of them of which you didn't need to know everything about in order to understand the joke. You can just giggle at how silly they are at surface level and still have fun. In later South Park you always have to know fucking everything the celebrity does in order to get whatever the hell they're parodying about them. I prefer it like this. Of course I never knew much about Bob Saget but from what I could tell he was an earnest man who liked to swear a lot and do silly jokes, and I can't fault anyone for that. Rest in peace Bob Saget

I remember watching AFHV with my dad when I was in kindergarden every night. It was on one of those TV's where you turn the knob to change the channel. RIP bob saget

The saving grace of Americas Funniest Home Videos was the fact that Bob Saget remained authentic with a moderate dose of self-deprecation and irony. He knew what kind of show he was on and he still made it bearable to watch despite the bad jokes. When he left, the show became even worse.

RIP Bob you were always a huge inspiration to me, you showed the world that you don’t need to be good looking, or remotely talented in anyway to achieve national level of fame. Thank you from all the mediocre people out there

I remember in the commentaries Trey and Matt say they hate him but contrary to what the audience thinks, are always civil and polite when people meet them so it was awkward when he kept making jokes with them instead of just hating them since they can only talk behind people's backs.
