You made me fall in love with Bobbi Brown’s lip products. I own the crushed lip colour lipstick in ‘telluride’ and the crushed liquid lip in ‘in a jam’. The crushed liquid lip quickly became my favourite formula ever! Can’t wait to try these new ones!

Things I love about your videos: They're fun to watch, they keep my attention, I hear about brands I haven't heard of (including from your country), nothing is too bright, and this is gonna sound weird but I like that I hear your voice. It makes your videos much more soothing.

This is a beautiful line of products. Thank you for sharing! My most recent lipgloss discovery is the KIKO Hydra 3D gloss in 21. It's a moody, rosy brown that's ideal to polish up any look. (The word 'polish' is ideal, because BOY they aren't lying about the 3D gloss part.) On a side note, I've noticed that finding nice lip colours can be tricky for people with naturally pigmented lips because most colours translate as pink, so going for a different tone like brown or orange really helps with that. I really love colour and light theory though, so now that I've geeked out in peace I will love you and leave you x
Thank you Elise! Absolutely, at first there seemed to be quite a lot of fair nudes in this range but I hope the undertones will suit different toned lips 👍 I'd love to see much deeper nudes in future! x
I don't follow the "big name" beauty RU-vidrs because they're too stuck up to me and I feel they overdo it on makeup, plus some of them seem mean and spend too much time promoting their own products or other products that are too high priced. But you are a very calm presence and I love your videos. They're informative and reviews are simple and to the point.

If you're struggling with anxiety (I have OCD and I'm in the UK so we're watching everything while our government does nothing) I'd advise you to perhaps look at books in your home you haven't got round to reading, home exercises like yoga (set it RU-vid tutorials up in your living room) and perhaps teach yourself how to bake if you can still get eggs and flour.

Sunny Ray well, last Friday he said all the schools in the country would close on Monday and for an undetermined time, but I feel like we’ve waited too long. And those are just the schools. Why aren’t we closing everything and why isn’t everyone in quarantine? I feel like France is just waiting for the situation to be as bad as Italy to close everything instead of anticipating and preventing the situation from getting worse. I don’t know, I feel like it should’ve been done sooner because there was no way of stopping the spread without doing anything. My bf came back from Asia last week and there were 0 controls at the airport. I find that astonishing, hence why I said the government wasn’t doing anything...

The neutrogena lip gloss with HA feels amazing on the lips as well but more balmy than oily. Burts Bees might be a dupe for this but I havent tried their gloss
I have a sample from Sephora and I want more! Obsessed. Not sticky, not tacky and most of all stays on for a while. It also doesn't leave my lips torn like other glosses and balms do.

Crushed liquid lip colour. To me it’s a perfect balance between colour, shine and longevity. And I love how it looks and feels on my lips. Another favourite of mine is the Bobbi brown luxe lip colour in the bullet.

The crushed lip colour is my favourite because it fades like a stain. It is a cross between a balm and a stain with a balance of moisture and long wear with balanced pigment.
Matilda: your content is truly great. No useless rambling, and it truly feels like a friend with great taste is just talking to me about her amazing collection or makeup/ skincare. Unlike many others, you seem very smart and not superficial, like some American youtubers can be. Watching your videos is truly a treat, continue your great work! Ps- stay safe everyone!

Check out Nyx's butter glosses, they are heavenly as well or jiko's 3d hydro lipglosses, 17 is really nice (I have fair, cool undertoned skin with dark hair and eyes)

All of my travel plans are off for the year unfortunately - there's just too much uncertainty with cities going into lockdown, borders closing and any potential medical bills/other costs likely not covered by travel insurance. I'd also rather follow the advice about social distancing to help flatten the curve! Such a shame as I'd been planning an amazing trip for work and most of my friends live overseas, but it's better to stay safe and think of others too. Look after yourself! ☺️ x

I agree this formula is very special...it feels so luxe. I even wear it as a night time treatment. I’ve been freezing these tubes over night to eliminate germs and they thaw out perfectly w no change in the texture. Actually I’ve done this w all my luxury glosses and lipsticks and have never had any problems w the formula changing.
I’m SO HAPPY to see this review!!! I bought 3 when they were released: In the Buff, Force of Nature and Free Spirit, which in retrospect, wasn’t necessary since they are SO similar and sheer in pigment. Force of Nature is the one I wear the most - it’s so easy to swipe on without a mirror so I tossed it in my bag.
Life has been crazy this past week but the first chance I got was to catch up with a new Matilda video!! Brought a sense of normalcy for a few minutes.....thank you 💕💕 p.s. new romantic is lovely
Thanks to you I tried out the crushed lip color in cranberry when I went to Sephora a couple of weeks ago and I was instantly OBSESSED! I normally couldn't fathom buying a $30ish lipstick but I've worn it everyday since and I think I'm going to end up reaching the end of the bullet eventually.
I love the crushed liquid lip- bought a set at the holiday and love them- wear daily. I have, since discovering your videos, also bought and love sugar ( honey) and kosas in stardust. 👄
I love the Bobbi Brown crushed lip color. It's beautiful and very wearable. I have Babe and Ruby, and am fortunate enough to have them in minis for my purse as well. The lip gloss in Hot Streak is in my Sephora cart, waiting for the Spring VIB sale.

Among my favourites are the Crushed Lippies in Cali Rose, Bitten and Telluride!!! And claret from the Luxe range along with Trailblazer are my go to!!! I use the crushed liquid lipsticks quite often too and I reach for Give a Fig or In a Jam ever so often but Main Squeeze or Big Apple can lift my mood even on the gloomiest days!!! Cheers! omg i took one look at after party and now i need it. it's exactly the color i've been wanting. if they released that in the crushed lip color formula i would be sooooo happy.
Not sure they'd work well for a gradient lip to be honest - the formula is so balmy and light so it would probably move around slightly. I'd say lip stains tend to work best for an ombré lip instead 👍 x
Ohh, ive been curious about trying out more red lip colors for some time (but always been a bit scared of them) so I think some of the colors in this line would be a great introduction ! This is a great distraction to everything going on right now! ❤️

I've been trying to find natural-looking tinted lip glosses in my area, especially since I don't go out much and hardly do any online shopping 😂 thank you for reviewing this product, especially when you can find it in Australia! I'll definitely have to buy it this week 😁
Not sure if you have them down in Australia, but the Fenty Beauty lip glosses really are the best! I have the whole limited edition set that came out for Christmas and the original Fenty Glow and nothing beats them! :)

I got the crushed liquid lip after your recommendation and wore cherry crush yesterday on the lips and as a blush ( similar vibe to the Nudestix in the bloom dewy blush). Looked absolutely beautiful. The lipglosses seem super interesting but I am saving money to try Nudestix glosses this month

I got the chance to splurge on some bobbi brown products last month (with my student budget 😂) and i bought the lip gloss in Love Letter. its my fav lip gloss formula for now, i've never had a lip gloss thats just as comfortable as this one! its nice to wear it over some lip tint 💓

I’ve only been using glosses from Fenty! Love that theres shimmers in them, adds a little fun to my lips and it’s so moisturising. On a low buy this year since I’ve spent so much on lip products last year, not sure how much longer I can hold it in though😂

Ahhhh I love that Forever Chill color! A yellowy beige is the perfect nude on my light-medium olive skin tone, and it’s so hard to find! I need to try the product in store first because citrus is my least favorite scent. If the scent is too strong, I won’t wear it. What a bummer.
