As beautiful as this piece is, I'm rather disappointed that neither in the description of the video, nor in the video itself is there any information about the music used. Someone wrote that music, someone played it, someone recorded it. All people worthy of credit. This dance would not exist (or at least not in the same way) without the accompanying music. It was clearly choreographed TO this music, so why is the composer (and/or) pianist let uncredited? Even upon searching this video on Vimeo, it is listed as "piano played by Keir GoGwilt and Coleman Itzkoff", who upon googling are both classical musicians who specialize in Baroque music and also collaborate in the dance world. That's great information to know, though: A) it only sounds like one person playing the out-of-tune piano, to me, and B) considering this music sounds very legitimately as being from the Baroque era, why is the composer not listed? Is it Bach? Corelli? Telemann? Monteverdi? Or is it improvised "in the style of"? And if so, why not say so? I just find it utterly maddening that it took me copying and pasting the title of this video into a Google search to discover the performers (on a Vimeo page, a bit ironic considering Google owning YT), and I'm still struggling to identify the piece of music or composer. It's only because I think it's BEAUTIFUL that I want to know. In another video by these folks, they give clear credit to Pete Seeger as being the performer and artist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VlMuE52eWZI.html , so I'm at a loss to explain why they can't in this video. Am I wrong to be really bloody annoyed by this? Give credit where CREDIT IS DUE. As a working musician (primarily in theatre - where I very often collaborate with dancers and choreographers) it makes me frustrated to not see proper accreditation. I know this isn't necessarily the fault or responsibility of @UNCPerformArts - but this is where I first saw the performance, so this is where I've commented. Perhaps you could locate this information and at the very least, edit the video description?

Welcome to RU-vid 😂. But honestly please relax about the lack of information, it's sth I encounter a lot with dance of film music. I'm sure these artists aren't responsible for the upload.
