Kudos to Damon Albarn for creating this magical song with a legend. I think this song in time will grow and grow . Damon Albarn in my opinion is a genius of modern times.
This song.. Fuck. I'm a man that works a manly job and watches sports and all that shit.. But man, this song makes me cry. RIP Bobby. The unsaid legend
I could try to say I’m sorry But then won’t be quite enough To get you know pain that I feel And it just won’t let… Oh, it feels like the sky is falling And the clouds, clouds are falling in When I lose control, when it all begin. Please, forgive my heart, Cause not that the problems lies anywhere in there I’m a liar, I’m in a dream Going my way, nothing to rely on From the dumb silent weakness To the blindness of the night And we see reflexions so clear And the blush, blush of the morning light Hmmm time it can pass so slowly When you face the burden down The term is not… Please, forgive my heart, Cause not that the problems lies anywhere in there I’m a liar, I’m in a dream Going my way, nothing to rely on (bis) Please, forgive my heart, Cause not that the problems lies anywhere in there I’m a liar, I’m in a dream Going my way, nothing to rely on Uh, oh, oh
Amazing, flawless. Magnifique, merci pour cette sublime chanson et les émotions ressenties grâce à cet homme de talent et ses morceaux. Merci pour les souvenirs magiques que j'ai vécu sur cette chanson. RIP mister Womack.
Man I grew up listen to Bobby Womack and when I heard that song I was drawn to it. It was something different from him and I love it. RIP BOBBY WOMACK.

New music from Bobby Womack is a gift from God. We are so blessed to have him still with us and creating. The path he has walked has made him truly The Bravest Man in the Universe.
This song gets deep into my sole And Bobby’s voice is so very rich . I also love his live version played on New Year’s Eve in the Uk all those years ago.
ive got an nephew to an Uncle kind of Respect for Mr. Womack's work & art... its always had a way of speaking out loud; what my interself was saying... This will always spark an interest, in any of his new recordingsfor me" i pray the world will get to here & embrace the art too... GOD bless: BOBBY WOMACK...
Truly heart breaking news...such a unique soulful talent...i have such beautiful memories of seelng the last soul man in all his magnificent glory in the 1980's where he seemed to be carrying the flag for all that was magnificent in soul music. His live shows were an absolute joy..A joyous, warm, human stage presence backed by an always magnificent band bringing hard core soul to the needy, I sometimes left those shows feeling rejuvenated and injected to the core with a love of soul music that will never leave me..I can remember hearing live for the first time "if you think your lonely now" and being moved to tears...God bless you Bobby and thank you so much for all of the beautiful music... but " how could you break my heart" so...
Whoa. This music video feels really powerful to me. I don't usually write things like this, but it feels like his hands are contorted because he feels so awful about what he's done and himself in general that he feels the need to punish himself. I would assume his fingernails are painted to "mark" himself, kind of like The Scarlet Letter. They just kind of sit there, helpless the whole song, because that's how Womack is; hurt and waiting for someone to notice.
This is my favorite song on this album these words touch me cause of how I was when I was married wish I could say forgive my 💔💔💔 to her.rest in paradise to the greatest soul singer ever.mr.bobby Womack.
If you can't hear the soul in his voice then the one incapable of understanding is you. I hear it and I've been a fan of his since the early 1970's. I have learned to move forward with the times, be open minded and aware of the evolution of music. I wonder if you are still stuck wanting to hear more of the same from Womack's past. I truly think the cuts from this up and coming album are beautiful. My wife agrees. So do many more people than you. Cheers.
I really like this. Its well away from what Bobby Womack used to be. He has moved with the times with that Womack flavor still there, just different. Respect to a man who still wants to make music after all these years and all the changes the music world has gone through. Still doin it?? Hell yeah!!!!!
This Song Has Haunted Me Ever Since I First Heard it X Utterly Beautiful & No One Could Have Sung it With More Feeling Than The Late Great Bobby X Bet The Angels Love 2 Hear You Singing up in Heaven RIP X ❤
@@jessicawiley30 Hi Jessica 👋 I Don't Recognise Your Name & I'm Not On FB 🤔 Maybe, We Just Share The Same Great Taste In Music 🎼🎵🎶 My Personal Favourite Of ALL Of Bobby's Songs Is "I Can Understand It" From His Album "Understanding" ❤ If You Don't Know It, Enjoy 🥳❣ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hOcmdyf2PNI.html
Damon albarn IS WITHOUT A DOUBT,THE MOST UNDERRATED GENIUS PRODUCER SINGER/SONGWRITER OF OUR TIME. I mean gorillaz, his solo stuff, his soul-trip hop stuff, etc etc. He says how a trip to africa and listening to the most beautiful simple beats changed his life forever and he found his voice. All i know is,he's a damn genius. Listen to THE SELFISH GIANT,or EVERY PLANET WE REACH IS DEAD with ike turner on piano. Its just genius.
I know, here in Mexico, they barely know Gorillaz by Clint Eastwood, but they don't know about Damon Albarn, he does his songs because of his love to music, not for money
Ulymaldo Gaming my friend its a shame they do not know about damon albarn down there. You should change that. I live in the states and they definitely know the gorillaz and blur but its his solo stuff & bobby womacks album the bravest man in the world that i love. Its unbelievable...
Michael Mccollum They listen to different types of music here, probably it's not common over there in the U.S. Since I lived in US when I was a kid, I got to listen to some of their songs :P
Ulymaldo Gaming actually we listen to every kind of music there is here. This is America after all,the music capital of the world. Where country music came from. Where the blues came from. Where soul music came from. Where gospel music came from. Where country, blues, and gospel were put together to make rock and roll. Where rock and roll turned into punk rock. Where punk rock and that hardcore masculine fuck the world rebel attitude becomes hip hop. Where isaac Hayes and Otis Redding got down on the microphone at stax records in Memphis Tennessee. Where the temptations and Marvin Gaye got down together at Motown records in Detroit Michigan. Without the music of the United States the world would be an awfully horrible place that I wouldn't wanna live in my friend. We listen to every type of music known to man. I just think that Damon albarn heard some African/world music while there and he heard new drum beats and all kinds of new interesting sounds and he got a bunch of ideas. Paul Simon went to Africa in the late 1980's and heard some beautiful sounds so he made an album that was a huge hit about Africa and his love for it.
Mr. Bobby Womack's music is real soul. We all have done things in life we regret. If we ask God for forgiveness it is always granted. Whosoever suffers from a troubled past forgive yourself and live a life free from anything you see or hear. There is no place in this universe God cannot rescue us from, we need only to believe and confess, Jesus is the Son Of God and Jesus died for our sins, and God raised Jesus from the dead for believers atonement from sin and it's grip on our lives.
My hero, bobby Womacks voice is shredded, when I listen to 40+ years of real Soul gems I weep, for this should never have been recorded, heartbreaking, love you Mr Womack
Barry Quinnell Even though his voice sounds somewhat weak it is still full of so much soul and undeniable talent that it still reaches down inside you and makes this recording very special. I am glad he recorded this, remember everything must change, nothing stays the same. As long as we are alive we should live.
Listening to public radio in Detroit today, and this was played with the whole story. Dude, I didn't know he released material in 2012. I'm flipping out! This is darn good!!
do yoU HEAR HIM...Nasty Beat...BUT DO HEar him...Powerful Voice...Great Track...Actually would love to HEAR This with no backing...Just his vocals...WOW.
Chanson intemporelle... Merci ma Soaze et merci à toi aussi Germain 😉. Merci cher Bobby Womack pour ces moments de purs bonheur ! Mission accomplie sur terre ! Bon repos...
I don't care what the critics on here are saying but I also really enjoyed his performance of Please Forgive My Heart on the Johnathan Ross tonight. Shows that he still has that raw, edgey, original style. Awesome!
Trés peu des gents le connaissent ,il a été extraordinaire et l'auteur des meilleurs. jimi hendrix - janis joplin et wilson pickett... que dieu repose son ame en paix
This man have touch me in ways that is unimaginable. I always wanted to meet my Love when I was 18 years old , from hearing his music on the radio . God blessed me 18 years later I got to meet him and hang out with him .We stayed in touch up to him getting ill ,even moments Bobby would call me while he was in the hospital . Robert Dewayne Bobby Womack will always be the love of my life I hate I did not become his wife . Gone too soon and my Love will always be for Booby
furthermore: the fact that Damon albarn produced this shows how powerful Bobby's legacy is and how insightful and open Damon is just plain good ass music... congrats mr albarn on a beautiful song :-)

I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song ?
