They're honestly one of the most dependable things on the market. The only reason I still like a VKS a little better is because it just looks more realistic and shoot shape projectiles better. But these will actually hold up considerably longer without maintenance. And for the length of barrel you're going to get more power typically too. I've got over 80 on one of them before with a long barrel

I used a MLL on this one, actually. And he informed me that he has new versions on the way

Depends on the threads. I dont think either version will match up to the threads I've seen in HDR barrels. You can get them in 7/8 or 22mm but I'm kind of thinking the HDR barrels are some other thread.
