Jason koch, that’s a huge step. Alcohol is literally poison. Caffeine also triggers anxiety. But as Dennis said, you need to understand the root cause, and that’s usually childhood trauma, neglect, narcissistic parents, etc.

@@KellysMagicalRealm How are you now? You must have met a physician. In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. . To feel better reduce negative thoughts [overthinking]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, before sleep, in school, at work, when reading, etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. I’m an anxiety sufferer of 5 years, since I was 17. I used to suffer from agoraphobia, health anxiety, panic attacks 24/7. This was after I gave medication a try. 10 days of anti depressants changed my life. I was trapped in my house for 8 months(2019). I couldn’t be in the shower/bathroom for more than 5 min. I couldn’t go to the kitchen. I basically couldn’t leave my room. After so much exposure work, I’m now 4 months into being agoraphobia free, health anxiety free, but now I just struggle with dizziness and depersonalization. I been working on those two, understanding repressed emotion and many more since exposure work alone isn’t enough.

Jay Troche Jay I had to take some short term medications to take away panic attacks. I found that once I understood in my head that this is how my body manifests anxiety I was able to see it as just a weird thing my body does do no need to be freaked out. I used a lot of lavender cream on my neck and throat to relax the muscles and drank camomile tea, no coffee or alcohol as they make me worse. Went for physio on neck and shoulders too. Just to help relax.

Thank you for this video Dennis. I just recently started suffering with health anxiety after the birth of my second child in February. Constant lump in the throat, chest pain, arms will tingle, dizziness. The doctor tried to put me on antidepressants and the pharmacy gave me the wrong dosage. This didn't help. I decided from that point that I wanted a more natural approach and found you. I beginning to learn so much. For instance, you just made a Facebook video regarding how each physical symptom represents something subconsciously... and by the words we use we can determine what is actually bothering us subconsciously. For example, I describe my throat as feeling something stuck in it. I feel stuck. This pandemic, fear of sickness, two children under two by myself, finances, the list goes on. Three days ago I got into poison sumac (did not even know that was a thing) in my backyard and ended up in an urgent care and now on steriods which only increased the stuck feeling along with physical symptoms from the poison. My subconscious has even tried to tell me that my body did not touch the plant and this is all made up... that I am just ill... even though I showed the doctor the plant and received confirmation. I am using your channel heavily. Thank you for your inspiration in overcoming. I am learning so much. I have even been taking notes on paper so I have something to read and reflect on. Please continue to help us. God bless you and your family!

It is incredible how your guidance has made me to partially change my focus from my body symptoms to my mind thoughts in just 3-4 days. This is a huge achievement for myself, Dennis, given that I found myself prior discovering you with the worst physical symptoms that a person probably can experience. But now I can see a light at the end of he tunnel. Last evening I relived (for the first time), one of my trauma experiences. It was very intense and I cried a lot. I can tell you that, during my crying, I felt lots of emotions and a major release. However, I am aware that healing needs more time, so, as you mentioned, I give myself the patience I need. I wish you the best, Dennis. Continue with your great job!

For months I've had tingling, numbness, weakness, and twitching in my left arm and hand, the dexterity in my left fingers are off especially when typing. I have been to a couple of neurologist and have normal exams. I started reading about ALS 3 months ago and went into a complete panic thinking I have the beginning stages of ALS and the doctors haven't caught it yet. It has completely taken over my mind and has been so debilitating, and have been obsessed with googling my symptoms. I am seeing one last neurologist in 2 days for an EMG and she said she will no for sure if I have ALS based on the EMG or if it's some other neurological condition, or if it's mental health and long-term panic and anxiety that are causing my symptoms.

You do happen to possess a genuine insight and deep understanding of anxiety/depression and I think particularly helpful for younger folk. I'm in my 50s and have struggled mostly silently for years. It gets much much harder as you age IF through fear/ego you continue to ignore and pretend you're doing just fine ..mainly to yourself, (the human predicament, we just want to Go on), although secretly knowing that way down there in your gut that you're not. What is really lacking between people is Love..like the song, around when I was a child, Bacharach's, "What the world needs now is love, sweet love" ..just to listen to the sentiments in the song, without judgement. I've suffered from health anxiety for many, many years and am still going through hell with it despite undergoing CBT currently (which doesn't seem to be helping much so far). I've been going through a hard time with my left ear over the last four months - having been told I had eustachian tube dysfunction following issues with tinnitus (a low humming noise) and thumping in my left ear which is still ongoing and has resulted in me getting an ENT referral recently. Over the last few days, I've been getting a twitching upper left eyelid which has been scaring me a lot. Of course, I've turned to Doctor Google and am now even more worried that it might be because of something like a brain tumour, MS or some other catastrophic disorder or disease (neurological or otherwise). It's just awful being afraid almost every single day. I want my life back!

Derek Brettle as an Optometrist, there are only 3 reasons for eyelid twitching: stress, caffeine, and lack of sleep. It could also stick around for a few months, but eventually will dissipate. It’s funny how your biggest anxiety symptoms always seems to be related to the disease you fear getting. For example, those who fear having a heart attack & dying suddenly have been reporting things like heart palpitations & chest pains which are actually caused by anxiety. In my case it’s diabetes (I lost my Dad to T2 diabetes 5 years ago and saw firsthand just how much he suffered from complications), and I’ve often been feeling numbness in my toes and dry mouth, even though when I got screened my fasting blood sugar was normal.

Ok so what I did was notice the symptoms- as you right, then ... notice I am noticing... thst right there is the trick! It means you can observe, experience and, think. This is where your self talk comes in, curiosity, ohhh I feel ____ ohhh, I'm thinking ____ so you see choice has arrived you know from experience if you choose to believe some thing bad is happening you'll feel worse, also that this passes eventually and you are left wondering what just happened as at the time it all felt so intense. All year watching Dennis and challenging this by trusting his guidance, and myself, all while grieving death of both parents, betrayal by spouse and isolation. I made it. After 40+ years of anxiety I see how much of my life went down the tubes, all because of childhood traumas and unprocessed emotions and conditioning. I swear, if you trust Dennis' s guidance you'll heal. Thank you Dennis 🙏⭐

I am one of those people that are too stubborn to give in. "No, i refuse to let my body break down on me"....and then you start sweating and feeling dizzy. It's frustrating as hell. I don't want this...so it's not going to happen! Again...that doesn't help. Then you try logic. Maybe it's this. Maybe it's that? Something i ate? Low blood pressure...you try to reason your way out of the feeling you are going to feint. The chest pains? Probably my pecs are hurting from being too tightly wound all day. Then you say...ok. It's stress and anxiety (at the same time your brain tells you...you are a warrior and above this)...i will try to deal with the anxiety and go seek help. Then you meet people trying to tell you to meditate and breathe. You try it but feel like this is not for you. I cant listen to someone talk about a spiritual place and go there...i feel like it's well...not for me. I am going to follow this channel...and try...Again.

Thanks You Dennis for sharing this informative information about Anxiety. I learn some newer information from your video. That I can simply use to deal any of my anxiety problems of the brain more than the physical symptom. Energy is all around. It's motion, it's feeling, it's force and time consuming. Merry Christmas 🎄 & Happy New Year 2020. Take Care, Phil

The "Inner child" perspective makes sense as we were all children and some point haha. Insecurity, being overtly emotional, erratic , rebelling all seem like attributes of a child . Being calm , analysing, understanding , accepting the problem and how to find an appropriate solutions seems like the adult attribute which we need to be more. Even though the child is the essence of us as humans.

DENNIS, 😭 I really feel so HEAVY. I keep on thinking of things that I can feel inside me. That stabbing sensation on my right upper abdomen makes me feel nervous most of the time 😧
