Hey guys, I know this video is a bit different to my usual stuff and I know it's been a while since I uploaded but I've been having some real issues with my body confidence and felt like I needed to make this video to help myself, and listen to my own advice, as well as help anyone feeling the same way. I really hope it comes across as I hoped it would and portrays a positive message about being confident and happy! The links above helped me out but if you guys have any other resources, make sure to put them in the comments and hopefully we can help each other!

It's a deep societal problem. A person may feel body confidence anxiety but when looking for a potential partner how open are they? Do they go largely on looks, body shape? Social confidence...are they a bit 'awkward'? Do they themselves then fuel this attitude in society? It's deep.

I applaud your bravery to be so transparent on this issue and struggle for you. I've lost 175 lbs myself so, I know the struggle. You're awesome. Keep at it!

It always surprises me when someone who I think looks amazing has body issues. Just goes to show how much it's all drummed into us that you need to look a certain way. Good on you for making this and I hope it helps anyone who has similar issues, well done Hannah :)

I used to be very self conscious about my height because I am very short (people make fun of my height all the time), but I realized that I don't care what strangers think of me. Why should I waste my time dwelling on the opinions of people I don't even know? Who cares if you're a little heavier or a little lighter than other people? Who cares if you're shorter or taller than other people? You are truly amazing Hannah and I'm going to show this video to all my friends so they can see how wonderful a person you are. This video is one of your best.

We all feel the same Hannah. Males like myself, females and everything in-between. I hope, that even sometimes, you can wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and feel happy with how you look.

Hannah! Hi. I love this video. It resonates a lot with me as at the beginning of the summer I started making youtube videos (and you're actually one of my inspirations to actually push me to start, so thanks for that!) and very recently I have been feeling so self-conscious because, like you said, making videos consists of alot of editing and thus a lot of looking at your self and just picking apart alllll of these things that you do and critiquing them and it's gotten to me a few times where it's delayed my editing and posting. So it's nice to hear that someone feels the same way. We can get through it though! :) Thanks for being so honest and can't wait for more videos! Lots of love x.

You are Perfect just the way you are and if you lived in Canada i'd ask you out in a heart beat no matter what size you are. STAY STRONG! STAY POSITIVE! In the words of Albus Dumbledore, Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. :)

wow, very brave video, i´m impressed :) i belive the most important thing is to listen to your body. if you feel healthy, your body is perfect the way it is no matter how it might seem to society (and society changes it´s ideal body type very often so there can´t be THE one perfect body). confindence and happieness is way more beautiful than anything else.

Hi Hannah, I hope this doesn't limit your potential, to tell the truth if people only watch your videos because of how you look then they are not the right kind of followers, it should always be your content, not your appearance that your audience enjoy. Appreciate you being honest however!

Hey, you! Stop worrying about whether or not OTHER people like you. Do YOU...like you? :) There are people of all different shapes and sizes in the world and they are all just as beautiful. Also everyone comes with their own set of values, their own passions, sense of humor, experiences and talents that make them all valuable members of their community. You're no different. I wouldn't be subscribed to you here if I didn't think you're awesome! I will also point out that I think you're absolutely stunning and that no one has any right to judge you. Oh my god, Hannah, listen to me. From the first video I saw of you, I was jealous of your body. And I'm not saying this to make you feel more secure or better, I'm saying this because it's fucking true. I sometimes didn't watch your videos because I just felt bad about my body when I saw you and I thought, wow, she must be so happy with her looks, she doesn't have any problems with her weight and such. So this is the most shocking thing ever for me hahaha
