Mine was pretty similar but as they were skint there were a few changes. Reception had their own nativity, years 1 and 2 had theirs and then year 6 was the only junior year that had one. For our parties as well it was reception, year 1 and 2 and ks2 but we spent the entire morning doing nothing but making decorations and then asda smart price party food at the generic christmas party to round it all off.
Oh my Lord!! Comprehension is THE WORST thing about primary school!! My primary school banned technology so we could never bring our game boys but someone brought in Dream Phone and she was a celebrity for the day!!
My school, along with all the schools in my state (US), have nothing special for school accept MAYBE if your class was good a Gift Swap but nothing more. You're so lucky😄
In primary school the only nativity I was in I was a sheep haha but I've been loads of weird things my last play I done in secondary school was Cinderella and I was the stepmother haha
i always learn so much in these videos about british schools :D in my school we sang christmas songs standing around a huge (!!!) christmas tree and we had always one afternoon when we made stuff like stars and tiny christmas trees out of paper (i don´t kno the english word for that activity :D) and ate LOTS of cake :D miss these days :)
Once I was cast as Mary! (Yay!) and we had been practicing for weeks but on the day I showed up 5 minutes late so they switched my role with someone else... I had to be the cow instead and the cow got to be Mary... 😂
Christmas party's were great bout our discos were great and we practically all pretended to be drunk 😂😂😂in our p7 one we were the oldest and acted like 6 year olds 😂😂you always went home boiling hot and exhausted
We only had yr 1 & 2 nativitys. I was a donkey then I was Whoopsie Daisy Angel but this year in secondary school, drama club said we could do a nativity and we had to act like 5 year olds ... I was Mary ... it was so embarrassing because all the teachers were there, some of the pupils were there with their parents and my mum was there
Hannah Anderson I was probably glad I had no lines back then. Plus we were the last, minus the oxen, to go on stage. I'm not sure their priorities were right!
Hannah Anderson some people had to be the animals in the stable so I was the cow XD I wore a white costume with black patches stuck on and lipstick all around my mouth! ... Kinda like MirandaSings...
Hannah Anderson coz I was that small kid in the class that was always too shy to talk and never got picked 4 n e thing and my teachers were really mean and said that they would get me another role and they didn't. they all told me I was the grumpiest Mary they had ever had! lol :p
Hannah Anderson Kind of, each kid gets candles, a dreidel, and gelt. And at the end of each day some teachers light a hanukia (a menorah for hanukkah) in their classrooms and say a prayer. The only similarities between our schools is right before brake the teachers give up on us and we do nothing in classes XD But your school sounds so much better than mine, omg
