I cant remember if you mentioned this in your last video, but oh my god, the pressure of making someone else tea or toast!! Like how much is a tea spoon of sugar? Is it levelled or heaped? What's a drop of milk? How much butter do they want? Do I go to the edge of the toast or leave a boarder? Do they want layers of jam or a thin coat? How well do they want their toast done? Do i cut it into triangles or rectangles? THE PRESSURE IS REAL!! 😁😁

love how we are from completely different ends of the country but still developed the tea shuffle to not get moaned at for leaving the lights on! The worst is when it is a multiple switch though and you end up turning the other light on with your head as you turn the main one off..

I've never thought about that Argos thing before but now I can't stop thinking about what's behind there (could be another way to platform 9 3/4)!

There's the "this tea is too full" very careful walk with a few sips and also the "how do I hand this hot cup of tea to somebody else when there's only one handle" issue
@noelclarke9654
@noelclarke9654 9 лет назад
It's not tea transportation that's the problem, it receiving the tea when the carrier has hold of the handle, that's the problem. Secondly when I have two teas a put my back against the wall and squat down turning the light off in the process.

A tea transportation method I use is that I start to walk, stop and have a sip, then start walking again

on the topic of the Argos storeroom: my cousin got a Saturday job there and he says the storeroom is kind of like the collection room at Ikea, just loads of shelves of boxes. I was absolutely devastated. he's a geordie too, haha!

I always transport my tea by balancing 3 of them on my head and riding a unicycle down stairs. Only applies when transporting down stairs ;D

Tea transportation: four cups, two in each hand and either headbutting the light off or my elbow...
@charlottedunstan4758
@charlottedunstan4758 9 лет назад
I'm quite risky and use a mug to turn the light off when carrying 2 cups of tea. I find the worst thing is when someone makes you a cup of tea and its not sweet enough so you have to either make up an excuse to go into the kitchen with your tea, sneak back to the kitchen or down it as quick as possible and remove the taste with biscuits.
@hanzandz

I use my elbow for the light switch and opening doors when holding two cups has called for a couple of spills though

The inevitability of ending a telephone conversation with the most long-winded and ssyllable-filled words ever, despite knowing that you have to leave yesterday, no, now it's two days ago, now it's a month ago because if you don't you'll miss your Uber, and the train at the other end of said Uber, and yet you cannot for the life of you, simply say bye. Astounding. The pointlessness of the above statement was merely to prove the point, but it's true at least in my case. I try to say bye, they keep talking. And telling me about what they watched three weeks ago, and how exciting it was. And how their little dog decided to eat their cheese sandwich. Meanwhile, I've got a cold cup of tea that I now need to scarf down because it's dropped below optimum temperature and that's a thing, too. I tut at the futility of it all, and wish I could find somebody to complain at, but alas, there's nobody but me. Contact your systems administrator. that's me, too.

OMG YES! I would always wonder about the mystery of argos when my toys would come out from the back rolling down the weird ass tredmill looking thing as if by magic! Who told then about my present! Freaked me out beacuse no one would move a muscle and it would just appear HOW!?!?
@Beautys00

Um.. I'm not British but what's the big deal with tea transportation? I mean could you just leave the kitchen with the lights on, go to where you will have your tea then return to the kitchen to turn off the lights? Or maybe just leave the tea cups on the kitchen table then turn off the lights, grab the cups again and walk away from the kitchen?
@hanzandz

@chloethompson5264
@chloethompson5264 9 лет назад
Huffly As a Brit, it's literally impossible for us to leave the kitchen with the lights on. It's like if you don't manage to turn it off without spilling the tea, you've failed. That's British logic for you XD
