BODY DOESNT FIT! Nooo Waaay! 

Ive personally istalled one of these kits on a 1970 ss. You are now seeing why they were angled down slightly. The one i put on wasnt even 1" lower than the frame but gave plenty clearance for the body. It sucks that you have to go back and do this. However you now can tie the cage into the bars since they are through the floor.

So if you needed 1" 2 or 3ft away from that if you added 1" too the farthest back mount you would gain roughly 1.25" at the point you wanted. Then the next mount thats close too that point you would add the differance its lacking too make it flat.

Hey I got an idea What no way? What if?After you hook the first end I would have taken the second and passed it over the fork into the other four Make it shorter that way.

Cant you a slightly higher body mount which will add extra clearance for rear tire and front tire size

Stack some hockey pucks, and then you have a body lift. Problem solved 😃
