Hi Harry, depending on the airline there’s normally not a lot of talking going on from top of descent (some other airlines from FL100) until the aircraft is parked on stand unless its checklists or operational concerns, and that’s to keep the so called “sterile” cockpit throughout the whole approach, landing and taxi in. I think it's normal as a plane is so loud that you need a headset with a mic in order to communicate with each other. So the fact that we can actually hear someone in a cockpit video might depend on how it is recorded.
