I know this is 3 years late, but it's not an inconsistency. 3000 ft is the minimum altitude for departures over the ocean at LAX, and the minimum restriction for the first waypoints. It's likely the captain mentioned that.

In “merci beaucoup” you are essentially saying “thank you very much” so the “mutch”(?) isn’t needed. At the end you say “they are always superb and so much effort”. Maybe a better alternative would be “et semblent exiger beaucoup d'efforts”? Which means “and they seem to require a lot of effort”. Anyway, it’s great that you learn French 👍🏻

They switch to combined frequencies every night usually around 2200 lcl ....it is rare during the middle of the day, but there may have been a reason ie. reduced traffic and or staffing
Can you do it uncut? I have seen some but uncut it would be much better i think. So the glares are really nice, but the cuts of the video isn't as nice as the glares. But cool video man
