Boeing is in big trouble! Nobody buys 787-10. Here’s why
Since its announcement, the Boeing 7 8 7 Dream Liner has been a huge success with a high number of orders, surpassing 1,700. With that outstanding achievement, it became the best-selling wide-body aircraft in history. However, when looking closely at the versions of this aircraft, we can see an extremely significant difference in their number of orders. The 7 8 7 dash 10 is lagging behind compared to the other two.
Boeing is in big trouble! Nobody buys 787-10. Here’s why. What’s going on? Why is the 7 8 7 dash 10 so difficult to sell? What moves does Boeing make to attract the market? Let’s find out!
Boeing is in big trouble! Nobody buys 787-10. Here’s whyThe 7 8 7 dash 10 is the youngest but largest member of the 7 8 7 family. According to Boeing, the dash 10 can accommodate up to 336 rows of passengers in a 2-class configuration. With faster travel speeds and a more modern, forward-looking design, this aircraft is destined to replace the Boeing triple 7-200 and 200ER. The triple 7 series is one of the company's best-selling products, they have sold nearly 600 units since their launch. However, they also show signs of aging. The oldest produced ones are almost 30 years old, they are too fit to be replaced.

Boeing is busy trying to fit non-fitting elements together, while Airbus is releasing well designed planes , coming to market way before Boeing. Boeing needs a RESTART or a SHUTDOWN.

Are you . People have seen and heard about mismanagement and lies, planes falling out of the sky no adequate compensation bolts not fitted and not the right make. To much money going to management and investors. That is why and people do not want to fly boeing and asking when booking is it a boeing if so i don't want it. You cannot have these faults and just brush it under the carpet or wave money about to encourage people that to people outside America is a slap in the face.

I don`t see the B787-9 as a competitor to A350-900 but I do see B787-10 as an overlaping rather compromised rival. I see Boeings thinking in that any sale for it is one less for AB perhaps rather like AB`s A330-Neo & it`s fight against B787. Boeing -9 is an incredible aircraft with huge sales to back it up, it`s found it`s niche perfectly as has A350-900. With hindsight I think Boeing should have explored a modest stretch over the -10 & gone all in on a bigger wing & taller undercarriage to accomodate the larger fan diameters that will be needed for better efficiency rather than B777X & it`s standard alloy hull. I mention `hindsight` because you could not foresee the damaging delays with B777X anymore than what Covid would bring about. A B787-`12` would have afformentioned wingbox, wing, undercarriage, stretch, & perhaps RR UltraFan for an aircraft with 350-380 passengers capacity decent fuel load & what could be game-changing range. Just a dream perhaps but I believe this route had it been envisaged could have been another `niche sweetspot` as -9 has been. Regardless I think B787-9 & -10 are crying out for more efficient engines, this would keep those lines going for decades, Boeing need to talk to RR!

Dreamliner? How about NIGHTMAREliner !!! If the employees of a company won't use their own company's product, then why would I ? Boeing employees have gone on record saying that they would NOT fly the 787 under any circumstances. Now a whistleblower has come forward to say that the plane could break apart in mid-air !!!😮 Sorry, but when I travel, I don't want to have to pack a parachute in my carry-on luggage. First, Boeing needs to clean out it's executive ranks and reinstate the quality control standards that made them the industry leader. They KNOW what the problem is but they're in denial.

They could make this with a folding wing tips to get this better lift Although they should just get dedicated team from the from Boeing & FAA to get the 777x to market Whether old Boeing employees like it or not, we need Boeing to rebound to be freed up to launch the 777, 797 and 757 replacements And also to be readied to make an f15 replacement. Any one suggesting Boeing should just quit should get the brains checked. The dodgy management is gone and a governance regime is being re-established It’s time to stop bashing Boeing and help get back into a successful stance. The world security relies on them being successful

I think it`s already happening with very recent orders placed for -1000 version. Ok these orders are a modest start admitedly, but will gather apace as airlines start to realise the considerable advantage the newer aircraft have in efficiency. There are many 200 series to replace, & while it`s true 300ER`s are not fully mature for some time I think you`ll see many replacements happen before time.
