Two astronauts are staying at the international space station longer than they planned while engineers work out some issues with their Boeing Starliner capsule. This, as NASA scrubs Monday's spacewalk due to a spacesuit coolant leak.

Because Boeing is also a major rocket company that built rockets like the Saturn v, Delta rockets, and space shuttle (Boeing acquired Rockwell International). So to see them fail this hard is surprising

Let us not forget that Boeing got a more lucrative contract. SpaceX only get around 2 B and Boeing almost 5 B and Boeing got nothing, but a faulty capsule to show for it. How many more failures would it take for NASA to dump this murderous company?

On websites you can find out what the airplane is your taking. Check your airplane tickets don’t trust anyone! They could be lying! They will tell you what the numbers are for example It might say A380 or Boeing 747 it’ll say. If you need help ask AI or reply here and I’ll do my best to find out for you ❤

Sounds like the leaks will have it burn up and explode in our atmosphere. You see we had problems like this before in the last 20 years and russia saved our astronauts every time and brought up parts to fix it. Well Putin said this time peace treaty and I will help. If they don't come home? Well we had options and we refused to go for peace. I didn't vote for the pants crapper and chief.

NASA has little faith in the capsule at this point. Repairs cannot be made since there are no replacement parts, Butch and Suni are neither trained nor equipped to make repairs, and outside is in vacuum and inaccessible. The issues couldn't be resolved while it was still on the ground. What can they do in orbit?

From what I heard the part that caused the leak was made in India! U.S. usually gets that part from China but due to those sanctions they have to get it someplace else, I guess they chose India…….

SpaceX will rescue the stranded Starliner crew and won't be compensated as per the international space rescue convention. Boeing profits won't be affected, share prices will remain stable. In other news, NASA has awarded Boeing $50 Billion in contracts how to create a capsule that can safely retrieve stranded ISS crews members and bring them safely back to earth. The project is expected to show results by the year 2072.

A SpaceX Crew Dragon, the endeavor is currently docked at the ISS but it is there for the other astronauts at the station. The two Boeing Astronauts do not have SpaceX advanced space suits and therefore cannot interface with the capsule's life support system. First step is call in the Calvary and go hat in hand to SpaceX

Challenger didn’t blow up in 1983, it was 1986 and it wasn’t the shuttle that exploded it was the solid rocket booster that blew up, which resulted in the vehicle being destroyed. Out of all the space shuttles Challenger was the safest with the most flown missions of the early shuttle program and was nicknamed “the workhorse” Columbia on the other hand was a disgusting lack of empathy or even basic engineering and understanding of the space shuttle and how something like frozen foam could damage the orbiter

Apollo 13 was nothing like this. There’s 3 Russian capsules that can be used as “life boats” that are continuously docked to the ISS. The astronauts could use those if the situation was that dire. But due to optics there can’t be any reports of astronauts making it safely back to earth in a Russian space capsule because that might hurt the Ukrainians money laundering scheme.
