BOGNER ECSTASY MINI AMP 

We are truly living in the golden age of lunchbox-sized gargantuan tone monsters. We are also living in the golden age of Pete Thorn’s guitar playing.

Great decision to play an AIC style track with a Bogner amp. Jerry’s riffs and tone are unbeatable. You absolutely killed it Pete!

The riff was very Alice and Chains. Loved it.

When the first chord makes me go “DAAAANG” you know it’s gonna be another great Pete Thorn vid.

I could imagine gigging with both this and the Friedman Mini BE, each into one input of a stereo 2X12 or 4X12 cab. What a kick-ass, heavy-sounding rig that would be! And because it's two amps you'd probably be loud enough to play over a drummer.

This is a cool mini head for those seeking Cantrell's tone cheap. 30 watts is enough. Paired with a Marshall 2×12 this thing chugs. Just missing reverb. Nice effects loop for your pedals, though, or just plug straight in with them. Looking forward in comparing this with the new Soldano mini.

Just how quickly did Bogner throw this together after witnessing the crazy success of the BE Mini?

I just bought one. I'm going to try and use the Bogner Blue pedal in the FX Return with an ABY to switch between Blue and Red channels.

That sounds pretty friggin awesome! Have to wait a bit though I just dropped the hammer on a new headrush mx5. Fantastic playing as usual, you have a great blend of technical chops backed with a lot of soul man love your playing.

Great video as always Pete! You've got to use some of these demo songs for a new album. The mini sounds better than the Bogner Red pedal to me.

Pete is the best guitarist in this era.

Before watching this video, I watched Jerry Cantrell interview about his newest solo album. The opening song has a bit of Jerry's vibe on it and the testing song is definitely AiC song. It's like a fun coincidence.

Your original (seemingly off the cuff) intro's to your vid's are always amazing, to the point that sometimes I feel like I should be flippin burgers, lol.. And the Legend lives on! I do have a question.. I just saw your demo on the Friedman mini and loved it.. now we have the Bogner.. they seem to be almost an identical format with the exceptions of the addition of the cut boost switches and aesthetic's... I'm guessing that these are generally the same design and package i.e. internal layout, electronic components, transformers and power configuration then with some personalized mods to represent the signature branding. Is that where it end's? I don't have an issue with that because it sounds awesome, but would like to know how they truly differ and who is producing the template, or core of these things.. Simply curious how that all works. Any light that could be shed on this would greatly be appreciated. BTW, like thousands of others, I always look forward to your Vid's as they always provide a rock solid performance of music, intel and inspiration ! Thanks Pete! for all you do!

These things are GREAT. Why did it take so long to make solid state amps like these mini amps? There's no point in saying they're not meant to be gig-able, c'mon. If a pedalboard straight into a power amp setup is considered a gig-able rig, these absolutely are too.
