Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen Cover), Steve Vai & Yngwie Malmsteen & Zakk Wylde & Nuno Bettencourt & Tosin Abasi, Hard Rock Casino Sound Waves Theatre; November 30th, 2018; Generation Axe - A Night of Guitars
Chris Ayres either that or Zac Wylde threatened to club him one if he acted up lol. (Not that wylde would, the mans a big giant teddy bear, but still a bear not to be prodded!)
Shayne O'Neill Ha ive seen Zakk take over a performance at the Experience Hendrix show, he could not help himself, but he was shredding and the crowd did dig it, the guitar player Brad from Aerosmith was like “okay Zakk, youve officially taken over the bandstand, now can i play a few notes?” Haha
Can we get Tosin Abasi some love in the video title? I was at this show, and Tosin 10000% brought his "A" game to the stage. He was as much a part of Generation Axe as any of the other players.
Can't believe no one noticed Tosin Abasi quietly playing in the corner... Animals as leaders literally gave me goosebumps first time I heard them live...
Sometimes it was hard to tell who was playing what? Lot of sound in there. Vai's chord progressions are so spot on, but every single time? Malmsteen sure knows this tune head to toe, but Zakk & Nuno were good too while the drummer kicked back.
Yngwie is forever the God of hairband era. The guy still rocks a gold chain with the chest hairs sticking out, the big hair, the rockstar attitude. Guitar hero for real lol
Proof positive that it's not about the number of notes. It's about the right notes at the right time. And all these guys know it. Mad respect for everybody on that stage for their restrain and musicianship in service of an absolute masterpiece.
If you're familiar with works by Mozart, he composed music the same way - not quantity but quality of notes. Never a misplaced note and his compositions sounded perfect. If you're not familiar with Mozart, I say that because I don't know you), might I suggest watching the film Amadeus. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-th_ro9CiASc.html
Best instrumental cover of this song... yngwie and vai play well together. I’m a fan of all these players. Crazy how much the vibrato is the signature of most players. Yngwie still untouchable. One of the most controlled and killer vibratos ever. Wish he would do this more often and slow down. We all know he can shred but when he lets his notes breath he’s untouchable
Originally it was done with just two guitars...Mine and Brian Mays... But all of them didn't do so bad at all....well done Steve Vai...Yngwie Malmsteen ...Zakk Wylde And Nuno Bettancourt ,Tosin Abasi ...You made my day...Thanks for the memory...And Steve thanks for remembering the night we Did the "Ogre Battle Rendition of Guitar...Crossroads !!!"....
Yngwie is a professional musician. He knows how to earn respect and when to show respect to his fellow musicians. Steve is a legend with unmatched taste and intelligence in his performance. Nice video. Thanks 🙏👍
Я рад видеть их вместе. Я благодарен им, что своим творчеством они красят этот мир. Добра и Мира вам и всем, кто живёт! Уважение ВАМ за уважение к другим музыкантам и простым людям...
just another confirmation that this is the greatest song of all time. If there were one song to represent Earth to the rest of the universe, it would be Bohemian Rhapsody
@@jack6116 Not real musicians. More like show offs absolutely seeking attention and approval. Children. The guy in the video who hollered: "Freebird" he understood what a garbage move this collaboration was.
Thank you for recording this and uploaded it whomever you are. You've done a great service to the mankind generations to come well after we are all gone. Rock on w
My Boyfriend always said, " if you make love to your guitar like you do your woman, you'll never miss a beat". He was a Master! 😉😉 😍🤗😚😍 I became jealous over the guitar, 😏. RIP🌌 MY LOVE, Jessie Lee Monroe ( you-tube)💝💖💔🎼🎵🎶🎸🎤. 15 months seems like yesterday😢🙁 miss you so much 💋
Kudos to the drummer, the bass player and the Keyboard player. The guitarists are all great, but it's the baseline that keeps them together! Togetherness above level 9000!
thank you so much for this upload man, what a treat for the ears so much respect for the song from everyone on stage especially malmstien and zakk lol thank you
They've honored it every single second. The pinky playing. Y.M actually controlled himself from stunts and played the song as for what the son is. So impressive and respectful . Loved it.
That was enjoyable to listen to. I love that all those great players worked out this classic song, which to me, was a "tribute" to Queen, especially Brian May's iconic lead parts. I watched this after viewing Vai at Clapton's Crossroads (for the 20th time) in 2004.
