yes, hide the archers behind the wagons and throw in some steppe lancers or knights for protection from seige. The wagons are really useful in team games. Onagers + wagons would probably be good too

@@jiricirtek8160 Exactly !!! I felt cheated while I was playing Slavs xD Luckily we got our own civs, can hear our language and finally feel our ground

@@RobotShield yes. on the other hand, I tried bodkin and bracer in my first game to increase their range.. was ready to report a bug before realizing what is going on :D

the Bohemian castle looks out of place, it's just too beautiful, the fidelity of the castle model looks too good. I keep mistaking it for a wonder.

@@mari.be.86 correct, while almost all of the other castles are just generic castles, which makes the Bohemian one even more out of place.

Sounds a lot like an original czech dabing of dark elves in WoW III.

It's kind of funny how Hera kept saying how op the unit was while Vipey immediately poopoo'd them but decided to commit to massing it for science.

No, the Wagon will just take half the damage from projectiles flying over them.

@@iondustt But from what Ive seen the damage that the Wagon recieves is negated by pierce armor of the Wagon..so in most cases thats 1 maybe 2 damage

The Bohemians were the first Europeans to extensively use firearms in battle, during the crusades against the Hussites, nobody claimed they invented gunpowder ... Southern Germany and Bohemia were also at the forefront in the field of metallurgical innovations, worldwide, during the XVth century, and I am not joking.

Words howitzer and pistol are from czech language from hussites - houfnice a píšťala. They used firearms a lot.

You must understand the "Castle and Imperial age" didn't come in the same time everywhere in the world. Also you cannot really compare civs like that. For example only european civs should ever get trebuchets. And when it comes to runing economy on fervor and rocks, it's actualy fairly accurate. The Bohemien lands could not come close to the holy Roman empire when it comes to numbers, metalworks or husbandery. But they still defeated 4 crusades of highly trained and armored soldiers with army of mostly farmers with improvised weapons thanks to the inovative field tactics and usage of gunpowder.

You are right about making only one type of unit. I think it's more like he didn't care about winning in this particular game, it's his first time with Bohemians and wanted to only check out the new stuff.

Not actually, as he dont care about wining, just want to check out new civil & may be next round will be combo Hand Cannon behind Vagon or even trash monk conversion in Imperial Age

Go watch Hera then, who plays a completely new civ and goes crossbows.
