I'm a native of Santa Clara and I loved everything about this story! Those pictures were hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing...Hahahaha!!! I'm glad to see these students are having some fun besides studying and training and hopefully this tradition continues for many years to come.
YES...a positive vibe from Social Media...we just do not get enough stories like this one! Salute to the Runners who just like having FUN when they RUN!
When I was in elementary school I smiled my normal toothy grin but I have a slight open bite in the front and my tongue pokes through a little. The photographer made me smile with my lips closed and when my mom got the pictures and asked me why I was smiling like that, she was pissed because a kids smile is such an authentic part of who they are. Why do school photographers do that?
For better or worse, the main way that photographer makes money is by selling the photos to the parents, they have a contract with the school but they don't get paid by the school. Most parents will laugh at a goofy photo, but they won't usually buy it to hang on their fridge or buy prints to send off to grandparents etc. That's why being silly is discouraged
What an HONEST and wholesome laugh at yourself with NO malice vid. May God be with these guys who have a great outlook and humble enough to goof on themselves...excellent trait's .
When a band of brothers goes all in like this, ya gotta love the laughter, positivity and fun of the end result. Well done, lads! Reminds me of some of my most fun and funniest times growing up!
my nephew was in first grade and he told the school photographers that his grandma said he could pose however he wants and they just said okay and took them how he wanted it. 😂🤦♀️ i dunno why they listened to him but they are some funny pictures.
My niece just started college and went to get her picture taken for her new school ID. The guy taking the photo told her she could do whatever she wanted. I laughed so hard when she showed it to me. She doesn't care she'll be stuck with that ridiculous picture for a few years, but she's that kind of person.
@@mishaa7263 My college ID was a good 20 years ago but I pretty much look angry in every ID I ever had, even when I tried smiling it looked like I was ready to murder someone if they even looked my way.
I was in cross country all 4 years, and I was pretty good. But, I didn't hit puberty until my senior year. This stunt would have been a NIGHTMARE for me. 🤣🤣
Very funny. Good reporting too. Good blend of the professionalism you expect from a news broadcast and the casual warmth of a good youtube video. Love from TX :)
absolutely phenomenal gentleman, A+ There are not too many things that give me a genuinely solid laugh but this was absolutely one of them (former distance runner)
Okay but the fact that there was a Bellomy St. sign in the background of the one guy's interview... God, I've never been prouder to be an SCU alum. Well done, gentlemen.
@@roosterdoodster9220 true I believe with enough work anyone can get a sub 5 mile but at a certain elite level no matter how much work you put in most people won't be able to get a sub 4 mile
I wish this would go viral and be done on every high school campus in United States and if not the world at first I thought they were serious and now I understand what it is and it is absolutely terrific I love it thank you guys 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Truthfully, if it had not been pointed out to me, I wouldn’t of found most of these pictures to be anything out of the ordinary. The bowlcut for sure is crazy! but otherwise they look typical to me. haha
Wow, the reporter managed to absolutely drain all of the enjoyment out of these amazing photos. What a hilarious example of the old way vs the new way.
