kelvin gray clifton powell, keith david, are some legendady actors bokeem starred opposite in movies with wonder if either of them have been a guest on here?.
@Angel sweet Mine too! I was feeling Larenz part bc when I came home from the military a few years after this was made I was feeling just like him...minus the pimp being all up in my woman lol
We dont know hoe good we had it.. we had Bokeem woodbine, Larenz Tate, Omar Epps., Erm, Chris Tucker. So many amazing actors and comedy geniuses came up in the 90's!
@@butterpecansole1605 nah not really. Denzel up there with Sam Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Laurence Fishburne, Forest Whiticker, and Danny Glover. All great actors just different styles and type of actors...
I drove for Uber in L.A. in 2016 and had the good fortune of meeting this brother on a trip to his gym. He's one of the most humble, wise and mellow individuals I ever met...great conversation. Definitely a breath of fresh air in the narcissistic cesspool that is Los Angeles. Peace and love to Bokeem Woodbine...✌🏽
I rarely leave a comment, but I was so impressed with this intelligent, dignified and handsome young brother. I actually watched to the end. Kudos to you. :-)
Love this dudes energy! & he hit me when he said he's motivated by revenge. & that revenge is based on proving to yourself that you're more than others are willing to acknowledge! Dope!
Bokeem is one of the VERY FEW guests on this show I've seen CTG fully respect and stay in the lanes. At the beginning of the interview when he asked about Whitaker's eye... My man put him back on the right path. Lol!
I don't normally watch these interviews till the end. But it's very refreshing to see and listen to a young brother hold his own with so much dignity. No profanity💯💯
Yes we are!!! The creativity, vision, integrity, consciousness, intelligence and brilliance of those who created us 70s babies and influenced them and us gave us divine discernment! 77 was the best!!!
im from ohio AINT NOBODY AFRAIDE OF WEST COAST OR EAST COAST AND A PASS LOL A PASS FOR WHAT?? LOL I HAVE A PASSPORT I TRAVEL WERE THE HELL I WANT WE BUILT THE USA AND fought in every war need a pass lol thats funy
He's the exact opposite of his characters, he plays the characters so well, you'd kinda expect him to be a certain way. Strapped was DOPE Jason's Lyric my shit. Dead Presidents classic. I was proud of him for RAY (l appreciated his approach to that role) and DEVIL They need to give him more opps but different roles, he's solid.
Just so you bith know. He was in the Blade t.v. series as Sticky fingas (Blade)'s brother who was also a vampire. I believe his name was Stepinrazor. BOOM!
Shout out to Bokeem, Harlem world!.. I remember the 90's and the strong black actors from the hood in that time that stuck together...Shout out Mekhi Phifer as well🙏🏿
He always been humbled, even before he played in movies. I knew him personally. He use to live in Harlem,Ny (111th street between 7th & 8th ave). He always been a great guy! Good luck!!!
I AIN'T GOIN OUT LIKE NO PUNK -Caught Up He just said "it's all to the good" Mah man is so damn 90s lol. Real legend in our community in the acting world👑✊🏾
Bokeem woodbine reminds me of wood Harris. Both seem very intelligent and articulate brothers. I have no doubt Bokeem will land that major leading role in the future
Dee Hubb ehh idk he already been in the business for years and hasn't gotten a main role. Plus he isn't as popular now like he was in the 90's so I doubt it
Thank you @Tiffanie Richardson. All of you other mfs on here looking for some bs please go elsewhere. I was complimenting this brother not saying anything negative. FOH with that bullsht...
Cel Asegamay my favorite line was when they were at the table tryna organize the heist...and Cleon wasn’t with having Skippy (Chris Tucker) on the corner by himself being the lookout. Cleon told Kirby “See I told Anthony I didn’t wanna have anything thing to do with a devil filled junky.” 😂😂 Skippy said “what?” then boom👊🏾 Skippy knocked his ass out the chair and said “now talk some mo shit and I’ll knock yo ass right back down ol fake ass wannabe preacher no members havin muthafucka!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 greatest line in the movie lmao
Finally BC coming with the 90's legends if you wasn't rocking with Bokeem in the 90's you were definitely lost in the sauce great actor loved all his movies!
That slump happened because Hollywood closed the door on almost all black actors particularly black men, with the exception of Denzel Washington and Will Smith.
