Many decades ago, after we separated, the car that I let her keep, as I'd taught her to drive in it, had a sort of fire under the dashboard. Disappointing as those fog lights I installed worked well when we used it before.

I bought one of these as a joke for my wife last Christmas. Used it a couple times and it actually worked, used it for breakfast for a week or two until I got fucking sick of eating egg penises every morning. I was expecting some sort of ejection mechanism to expel the cylinder of congealed egg. Instead it seems to work entirely on steam pressure, and the partial disassembly perhaps reduced that (almost no insulation over cylinder and spiral coil). I’m amazed that it works reliably for anyone, ever.

Where does one get their hands on one of those nifty plastic selector packs? I'm trying to learn about materials used in manufacturing and samples like that would help a lot in learning to identify them. I've done all the detective work I can based on the video and I'll be damned if I can find it. Even managed to get the part number off the pack (PK-11-OMP) but I can find neither hide nor hair of it.

gas cooker has open flames. and if someone who's not that mentally fit bad things can happen. thermostat controlled electric heating element much safer then.
