I had no idea he was right inside the doorway that whole time!! Suddenly asking for her Dr Pepper becomes a glaringly disgusting & remorseless request. Poor doggo.
I remember watching the video she made of him begging her to get him out, that he was suffocating, and she said “ now you know what its like” fell asleep? BS
All she was concerned about was wanting a drink and a cigarette. She’s been like this her entire life, SELFISH. She literally killed him. He begged her too let him out as he couldn’t breathe. She hasn’t been humbled by this event at all. Still demanding what she wears and snacks for her to nibble on while she watches herself on tv!
The thing is the strong desire for a drink and cigarette helps her case. It shows she didn't wake up earlier or hadn't been sitting around thinking of ways to avoid responsibility. She had cottonmouth and hadn't had time to even have a drink or smoke before calling police.
She did have time to call Brian though and explain it to him and he had to get there which he said took about 10 minutes or so by the time he got organized to go to her place and he was there waiting in his car before emergency response came so I think that she had time to have a drink and a smoke for sure. She invited Brian to join her at one point before he headed out to his car I believe is what he testified to. But yeah, she's absolutely needing to take the edge off for sure@@trentbriggs291
Gosh she sounds like a sociopath, like she is making up feelings of remorse for falling asleep, but forgot she needed to invent feelings of grief that her boyfriend is dead.
People, including the prosecution, failed to point out that during the 911 call, Sarah actually said that she put Jorge in the suitcase. Don't know why the prosecution are not pointing that out 🤔🤔🤔
I don't think he was dead the night before I think he suffered all night and probably died early morning, she didn't get up until mid-day! What a horrible way to die!
Her cries of, “I FELL ASLEEP!”….every few seconds, makes me so sick to hear! Every time she said it, she said it with an over-exaggerated tone, really trying to hit that nail to make sure everybody heard that one point and hoping they’d fall for the “accidental story.”
I thought that officer Rodriguez was a lot older, based upon her conduct. She seemed like a seasoned, 20 year veteran. She handled that early crime scene with the wisdom of a 50 year old and the temperament of a saint. Surely she's made detective by now.
I don't think so either! "We were having a great day, and playing games." Clearly by her violent reaction to Jorge once she got him in the suitcase, that was a complete lie!
@@lovepet4565 I Don't know why I've never forgotten this even after 40+ years, but I remember my grandma saying that you can't smell vodka on someone's breath, and that's why the priests drink it. lol. She was a lifelong catholic who spent a lot of time at church.
The suitcase is difficult to open from the outside and would have been impossible for him to open from the inside. She said when she woke up the next day she sort of immediately realised he didn't get out of the suitcase.....so she took her time to make the bed first. She was on her way out with him in the suitcase if you ask me.....but she needed help. This was no accident.
I think that's why she called her ex husband instead of 911. She probably thought he would help her remove the suitcase, with Jorge in it. Her ex refused to get caught up in her drama, so she had to try to come up with a "plan b".
She cared more about getting a cigarette and something to drink than the fate of her boyfriend who she just killed. Theres nothing FRANTIC about her other than when shes trying to explain how 'UNINTENTIONAL' it was
@@polohorse315her former neighbours testified they heard an extremely loud thud on the night of the murder. Forensic evidence also seems to indicate the suitcase was moved and Jorge sustained contusions on his head and neck
Im sorry but the fact she called her ex who then told her she needed to call 911 is a HUGE problem in my eyes. Your supposedly doing CPR on a man but it never crosses your mind to call emergency services??? Get out of here. Lock her up for LIFE!!!
I definitely think she wanted to go inside for something like that. If only to watch what the investigators were doing so she could add details to her "story".
Her phone for sure, but now that’s she has seemed to admitted to hitting him with is wild after her initial story, that was likely on her mind. She is the worst kind of liar in every sense
I feel sorry for the dog as well as poor George, his soul is probably watching and wondering why he’s not being picked up off the floor. She needs to be locked up for as long as possible. Her apartment was pretty kept up at least, except for the carpets being so filthy.
When SB was questioned as to why she didn't unzip the suitcase when Jorge was pleading for his life, her answer, "He has cried wolf before..." So was she admitting to the fact that she, a straight A student, excels at everything. mother of the year contender, has committed DV against Jorge in the past????
So, she was up stairs in bed for approximately 12 hours? I doubt that. Well, maybe, laying there while she pondered how to explain all this? And hide & seek is the best she could think up. Wiw Sarah, that's not how hide & seek works!
Did you see where the stairs were, closer to the patio doors ? But Mr. Jorge was in front of the kitchen pass through, nearer the front door. Sb dragged that suitcase to that spot, then made that recording that seals her fate. I bet she was trying to get it to her car to dump him somewhere,
The first time she would have seen this and the interrogation video would have been when she got her discovery, which according to her she wouldn’t have got until this year? Wonder what was going through her mind
She mocked hime and video taped him. She knew exactly what she was doing. She is a narcicist and messed up big time turning that plea deal down. Now she will most likey get life!
She had all night concoct a story and what gets me if she doesn’t even look upset really she looks more agitated, and I don’t understand how this woman still had custody of her children
Brian has been primary care giver. He even testified to the fact that even on her days he had to call her to check if she remembered it was her day or if he should just go and collect Lucas himself. She was a functional alcoholic which means she drank daily.
It seems she has a privilege or accountability issue that makes it impossible for her to accept guilt. She thinks she is smarter than everyone she speaks too. This has been a complete waste of American tax dollars and she is a treat to society.
@@micheledematteis2072 I think so too. I wish the police had tested for this. It might go some way to showing up her lies about “I only drink at weekends” etc. I believe she was smashed 24 hours a day.
It doesn't make sense that she would go to sleep before ending the game. Who zipped him in? Why would he not say he couldn't breathe when he first got in? It doesn't make sense
She zipped him in. How could he do it. She said she zipped him up. He might have said he couldn't breathe after he got zipped up. Only person who knows is a liar.
In the video she took that night he is telling her he can't breathe, and was begging to be let out. She was laughing at him, and telling him F you. It's in her interview at the police station
Maybe that means he died within the prior few hours, before rigor mortis fully set in. It makes this even more horrifying, if he was alive in there all night.
I think she should’ve stuck with the original story, that it was an accident. She tried so hard to convince the police of it, especially in the interrogation. Now she says it was all a lie. Her insistence of this at the police station ruins your credibility big time.
Only emotion I see on her in the video was frustration over her Dr Pepper and inconvenience over the situation that she caused. The devil gonna love her. That poor dude, what a terrible way to go out
I hope the prosecution step up their game. One opportunity they missed is when Sarah said in her 911 call that SHE PUT JORGE IN THE SUITCASE. Sarah needs to be in jail for the rest of her life. She is a danger to people around her
I wonder why they didn’t introduce Brian Boone’s bodycam interview into evidence. Maybe it was prejudicial, as he told police she was known to be a violent drunk..
wow that gurgle when you do cpr ive done it once on someone down 3 hours prior to them calling me for help. person had been suffocated i thought they were ok once i heard that gurgle but later realised its just old air leaving the lungs. its terrifying to realise after, i even said oh they made a noise i think its ok. my case was on a baby of 6 weeks old roughly, murdered by the father who later took a plea deal of 18 months for manslaughter.
I wish the Prosecutor would have put more context to this video, as in telling a story with it. To me the opening statement was great but the rest was kinda Rushed.
He has to watch what he does he has to hold his cards close to his chest because if he lets anything out in a little bit Owens will make it a big deal he's got to be very careful
I have a theory, she drank the glass was meant for him, she fell asleep cause she drugged him. But she got his glass . She meant to drag him in the suitcase and prolly dispose the suitcase in the woods.
Did these cops actually graduate? One’s standing there picking his nose like a child, the other one is going ummmm ummmmm ummmmm, and the other female cop didn’t even really check the closets and the places she looked at properly.
@zeballos5757 I was wondering when someone would comment on this. I had second hand embarrassment about the inability of these detectives to form complete sentences without every other word being “umm” and digging up noses.
