Sarah Boone's ex-husband, Brian Boone, took the stand on Friday afternoon and recalled the horrifying moment when she called him in a panic, revealing that she had found her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., suffocated to death in a suitcase. Brian stated that Sarah called him first, before contacting 911.

Florida woman Sarah Boone is accused of killing her boyfriend after she allegedly zipped him up inside a suitcase and left him to die. Jorge Torres Jr. suffocated to death inside Boone’s Winter Park home. Boone claims they were playing hide-and-seek, she forgot he was inside the suitcase, and she fell asleep. Video evidence from the night of Torres Jr.’s death shows the victim inside the suitcase yelling for help while Boone records the video and laughs. Boone called 911 the next day saying her boyfriend was dead. She was arrested for second-degree murder.

He told the police that he believed Jorge probably didnt allow her to hit him. I truly think Jorge just didn’t take any of Sarah’s crap when she beat him.

He is "subject to recall" when the defense puts on their case. He may testify again, then. The judge instructed this witness that he has not been released from his subpoena obligations, at the very end.

At one point talking with the detectives at the crime scene, Brian indicated once their son was born Sarah never embraced motherhood. She would leave her kid with Brian and hit the bar circuit. Sarah could not be counted on to live up the the arrangements set fourth in the divorce as far as child visitation. Brian lives in Gainesville Fl now and if he is asked to return for additional testimony it’s a long drive.

I’m so glad him and his son are rid of her. I know their son misses his mother no matter how terrible she is, but still, she’s terrible.

You have got to have a certain hidden feeling of vindication when you have to testify at your ex’s murder trial. That’s probably why he was sort of chuckling in the beginning. Do you want your child’s mother to be convicted? No. But are you losing any sleep over it? Nope.
