I remember listening to the keep the faith album, there was a bonus track. Everytime this song started to play, I hated the start and I always stopped the song. But one day I gave it a chance and let it keep playing...and I remember what I felt when the bass begins to play...oh boy, it became one of my favorite bon jovi songs instantly.
ajjjajajaj stupid .....you are an idiot thereis no need to have lucky to find this album because its 3 cd set in japan and you can buy it on ebay wherever you were.....asl
I feel exactly the same. I would love to know what idiot blocked one of the best songs on the album from being on the album in certain countries. Especially now that re-releases are based on the us version of the album without Save A Prayer and Starting All Over Again. So pissed it is not on the vinyl re-release or the "bonus" disc in the vinyl box set. Keep The Faith witjout this song is just wrong to me
You know, if I ever meet Jon, the first thing i'm going to ask him is what is going through his head when he chooses which songs make the cut on their albums lmaoooooo. Seriously, Bon Jovi must have some of the best bonus material/b-sides/demos/unreleased tracks of any band ever. More than half the time, they seem to cut some of the better material from their sessions. Looking at songs like Love Is War, Borderline, Save A Prayer, Satellite, No Regrets, Unbreakable, Dirty Little Secret, We Rule The Night... Heck, Edge Of A Broken Heart is so fucking good Jon even publicly apologised to the fans for leaving it off Slippery When Wet. I mean, he actually tried to get them to remove Livin' On A Prayer as well. Thank fuck the rest of the band talked him out of that one lmao. It's weird how good some of their unreleased music is.
I got this Album when I was 9, I refused to listen to that song echt time I heard the record, just because of the beginning. But then one day, I finally didn´t skip it and from that day on, I loved it! Man had I been stupid, to not give that song a chance earlier. Love it!
The only thought that comes to my mind when I think of reasons why they left it off the album is that if Jon included it on the album he would be obligated to perform it live and therefore would be damn hard to sing those high key parts
In my Country the released CD, came with this bonus track, used to listen to this song non stop, it has a really good instrumental, well produced, mixed and with the high standard lyrics as used to from Bon Jovi. It's different from usual but it still great. This song was the surprise from the album. It closed very well arch of the album.
I would love to spend a blissful 24 hrs with Bon Jovi..just jamming&hanging out..just being in the presence of so much great talent...originality and groovy company..thanks for saving my life!!Your music got me threw some serious crisis..Sincerely❤✊
Edge of a Broken Heart / Save a Prayer /All I Want Is Everything / I Could Make a Living Out of Lovin' You / Neurotica / Dirty Little Secret / Unbreakable / Bitter Wine / Put the Boy Back in Cowboy. AMAZING BONUS!!! Jon has always been attacking the band's albums. Relegating only Bonus tracks to great songs much better than several that were part of the official track. ALL I WANT IS EVERYTHING was the best status among the band because they played it live many times during the These Days tour.
And don’t forget about Another reason to believe, no regrets, alive, and standing, which were all bounce outtakes. As well as Nothing from have a nice day and I don’t wanna live forever from crush. Then we got deep cuts the night from slippery when wet and house of fire from New Jersey. Those are all really good outtakes as well.
Exactly!!!...like instead of that dumb song woman in love...cmon guys seriously!...plus this song fits the rest of the content of the record !🙏...I'd also cut out the intro and start straight from the drums...yay Tico 🥁
This one was released as a bonus track in Venezuela, so it wasnt unreleased actually. My father bought the CD there and I have it. It just wasnt released on the US version.
My UK pressing has this song as a bonus track and I feel it should have been an official track for an already outstanding album. I believe this song was written by Jon and Richie.
Some of my favorite songs have been B- sides on cassettes that wernt on the album ( in Australia anyway) the B-side of Push by Matchbox 20 has the Acoustic studio version of Busted and why it wasn't on the album instead of that crappy electric version is insane .
Max Power In Australia it was the 13th song on the album with Startin' All Over Again being 14. One of the best songs on the album and I feel sorry for countries that missed out on it! How THIS was a BONUS track and Woman In Love, Fear and Blame It On The Love Of Rock'n'Roll were legit tracks, I will never know!!! Can't stand Woman In Love. One of the worst songs JBJ ever wrote!
@@bartolomevillanustre1904 It is an okay song, but Save A Prayer is a million times better. Because the US only had the lame 12 song version, we did not even get Save a Prayer and Startin' on the double LP version. So annoying! Same with CRUSH. No "bonus songs". The album just sounds wrong to me without I Could Make A Livin' Out Of Loving You and Neurotica. Again, left off the 2 LP version. They should have given them as "bonus tracks". Save A Prayer is not even on the pathetic bonus disc in the box set. That should have been at least a double LP, even triple.
Probably the last Bon Jovi album I bought. Don't care for them any more. But damn. Got this one in Singapore with this track when it came out. It was perfect for sitting in the break room, getting pumped up to go out on the flight deck and bring the birds in. Had to keep your head on a swivel on a carrier and this was a good primer to listen to before looking danger in the face.
Bedt song on the album! I feel sorry for countries that did not get it. I am so glad Australia got the full releases of Keep The Faith, These Days and Crush. Still pissed the new vinyl releases are not complete and this song is NOT on the lame bonus disc in the vinyl box set. I still dream of big anniversary lp box sets of Slippery and New Jersey with all the Sons of Beaches songs and Slippery outtakes.
Jon Bon Jovi has always had terrible judgment as to which songs to include on albums. If it weren't for Richie's influence, "Livin' on a Prayer" would have been left off of Slippery When Wet. There's also the fact that "Satellite" and "Stay" were left off of Crush and "These Open Arms" and "Nothing" were left off of Have a Nice Day (with the exception of Japan, where "These Open Arms" was a bonus track).
One of my FAVOURITE BJ songs! Keep The Faith without this song is just wrong to me. Thank god it was on the Australian (and Japanese) CD! I feel sorry for countries that did not get the full album. It also shits me that new releases are based on the shitty US track list with no "bonus tracks"! Pisses me off that it is not on the new 2 disc vinyl release. Same goes for I Could Make A Living Out Of Loving You and Neurotica not being on the CRUSH vinyl. Both were on the original Aus/Jp CDs. These Days has All I Want Is Everything and Bitter Wine on the vinyl, why the hell were the "bonus" tracks not included on the KtF and CRUSH vinyl? Universal are idiots. They show no respect to Bon Jovi at all. No Slippery anniversay with all those awesome unused songs on it. No New Jersey deluxe vinyl with the amazing Sons Of Beaches songs.... pisses me off.
Uncle Bozo Sad but true! Jon wrote amazing songs but had no sense of what the best songs were! Hense shit like Woman In Love being a "main" track on this album and THIS awesome song was left off in most countries! It should have been a single. Don't get me started on the Sons of Beaches songs.... Homebound Train and 99 In The Shade were included and Rosie, (original) Love Is War, Growing Up The Hard Way, Love Hurts and Judgement Day were not good enough????!!!!
They were musically so much more interesting then. There was so much complexity in the arrangements, the guitar parts and drum parts and the harmonies. After These Days they gradually grew more and more generic, especially once Shanks showed up and further after Richie left.
can't believe this didn't make a studio album. One of the best songs I've ever heard! This sing should of made "These Days" of all the amazing unreleased songs they have and choose to put on an album, they put Diamond Ring. Wish they put this on these days instead
Dear Lord, Jesus, Buddha, Allah or can I just call you Joe I've got a lot of things to tell you and some things I gotta know I'm tired of hearing talk about this world's about to end If we can die together then can't we all be friends I gotta know Hey, I gotta know So mister can you tell me, gotta know Baby can you tell me, gotta know Whoa oh oh I gotta know Yeah, yeah, yeah, I gotta know Baby can you help me, gotta know I gotta know Did you ever feel like you were drowning, Did you ever feel betrayed by a kiss? Did you ever feel like you needed somebody, Would you feel alone in a world like this? Did you ever feel like you needed shelter, Did you ever laugh when you wanted to cry? Did you ever dream about evolution, Don't you ever feel like your living a lie? Oh, whoa, too many children grow up blind to the truth. I say, oh oh, oh, oh, Say a prayer for me, I'll save a prayer for you. Did you ever feel like you were helpless, Did you ever feel like an open wound? Did you ever feel that there ain't no forgiveness, Did you ever feel that close to the.truth. Oh whoa, the world closed their eyes on the blinding truth. I say, oh, oh, oh, oh , say a prayer for me, And I'll save a prayer for you I'll save a prayer for you, I'll save a prayer for you, I'll save a prayer, for you, for you, for you. I'll save a prayer. Did you ever feel like you need shelter, Did you ever feel like you lived through the flood? Did you ever feel a lust for survival, did you ever feel, feel, feel? The world keeps turning. Rooms still burning. There's too many hearts that haven't found a home. This train's on the tracks and the world's on my back, Save a prayer for me and I'll save one for you. No one to blame , but it's hard to explain, Why too many soul's are feeling so alone. You've got to hold on if it's all you can do. Save a prayer for me, I'll save a prayer for you. I'll save a prayer for you, I'll save a prayer for you, I'll save a prayer For you, for you, for you.
Probably rejected because it sounded too much 80's with the synth chords upfront, Wich is a shame because this is the classic early bon Jovi sound that I like, before they became folky/country/rock with the poor David Bryan far in the mix with bland b3/piano parts.
