Finally got to take this beast to the drag strip. The DA was a killer, at over 2000 - 2600 ft. Taking that into consideration, the car pretty much performed as it should being bone stock (just as it came from the factory), and ran what it's supposed to (according to correction data).
I'm # 2350 on the time slips. Car made a total of 10 passes. Missed gears on quite a few of those runs, but got some decent ones in as well. Definitely lots of trial and error, and learning on the fly. Had a great time though. Saw a couple of other stock SS cars (Manual SS 1LE did a best of 12.814, and a 10 Speed Auto SS that did a best of 12.598) , and what they were able to run, which reassures me this car will run better in cooler air.
The best pass of the night was 12.815 @ 113.35 mph (same ET I got on the street with Dragy) which came by way of using launch control (which was hit or miss in the 2-3 times I tried it). I also got a chance to compare the Dragy to the track timer for one of the runs. Elevation for the Dragy seems to be a tad off, as well as the fact that the DA and weather Dragy showed was lower, and cooler than the DA, the track time slip app showed.
