Right? I'm wondering the same thing! All that "method" seems to have the potential to teach is mistrust of the parent who is offering the toy and then hitting them for trying to take it. She’s beyond disgusting. I can barely watch her but recognize that we need to be mindful that people like this exist and prey on innocence. The awareness created by this and other like minded podcasts brings a necessary awareness, so if nothing else, we can recognize to rise up against those who profit off of any form of child exploration. And you’re right…she should not wear a baseball cap. She cannot cover up or surgically remove the ugliness of her heartless soul.

@@holly2moons315 that's awful! We are trained (at least in our area) to visit at the bare minimum once a month, but preferably more. It's all volunteer work, but I say if you're gonna do the training, you have to step up and actually do it.

Good luck with the rest of your CASA training. I went through the volunteer training here in NC during the early days of the pandemic. I was so excited when I got my first case- for a newborn baby. The case lasted over a year. It was my last case too. It crushed me and I told my supervisor I was done as soon as we had our last court date. It’s so hard to actually make a difference when the system is the way it is! I hope it goes well for you. ❤ thank you for advocating for kids. ❤ it is very important work but don’t get too invested, that’s my only advice I can give. ❤

I can't find it now, none of the videos from that time, but maybe someone else can, but I think she deleted them. She got backlash. I was watching her back then, she was working out for FIVE MONTHS and then decided to have surgery instead because she wasn't seeing results. She had a hernia in her stomach and then decided to have a tummy tuck, and full body liposuction (sides, arms, legs, all of it), pretty sure she flew to where the surgery was, then came home and totally shocked the kids. She filmed recovery for weeks or months, was always crying and complaining how bad it was, it was endless and I was so mad she would do that to the kids, on camera too!

Kids can be safe and get an education through homeschool and people do homeschool in certain part of europe. It's just a minority. ​yes. ? I personally have seen more children hurt by teachers and peer on peer violence and sexual abuse than people being homeschooled. That's my experience. I wish I never went to public school. It was an "amazing" district with great ratings and it was still a depraved place where rotten apple children plagued everyone else. There's no "protection"....there is no close supervision and it's kids mixing for hours a day where SO MUCH is gotten away with, illegal things, and mental and physical abuse.

Yes I highly doubt they will “be OKAY”. Pray they can recover as much as possible - BUT they are forever changed and will likely struggle with the trauma for life. Pray that they can “be OKAY enough” to make their own lives from here forward. And that they can get the support they need for those times when they aren’t OK.

I use to watch Ellie's channel and I always noticed she controlled food portion for kids. It always seemed like they had very little food on their plates. The last few years I did noticed her kids where not being shown as much.

Ellie is in no way the least strict. She just waffles between throwing shit and yelling at Jared (she’s broke her phone twice throwing it, and at least one camera by her own admission) and then apologizing and praising the children for their forgiveness. That isn’t being lenient in any way. That’s how you make hypervigalent and anxious adults. Look at Jackson, his smile rarely reaches his eyes. Josh should be covering these fools more. I mean, they used to post videos of their kids in the tub all the time and that’s how they got most of their views, and they filmed and defended a vlog where Jared rubbed his face on Bonnie’s son’s bare butt to see how smooth his shave was. They got called out by fans and played victim.

I agree, but that was years ago. Since then Bonnie has changed so much. She has taken a step back from her side of the family. She isn’t standing by her sister. And she has gone to therapy(real therapy, not Jodi “therapy”). Her kids are well taken care of and seem happy. Unfortunately, there isn’t much that Bonnie could have done for her nieces and nephew that would be legal. I don’t understand why the other sisters aren’t being looked at. Julie is supporting Ruby, and Ellie is the true narcissist. Ellie can’t even get out of bed most days to care for her kids.

💯 Pam Bodcher's husband was only worried about "how cop cars in my driveway is going to look" when they found Ruby's other two daughters made me sick and angry. SEVERAL times in that portion of bodycam footage has him repeating that. Not "are the other kids okay? Is even Ruby okay?" I'm QUITE SURE Pam was told that they were looking for the kids and Ruby's asked them to hide them until CPS went away. I grew up having to deal with CPS A LOT. I've seen it time and time again.

They get A TON of revenue from the mormon church community. That's another reason this shit is so widespread.

It's upsetting given the evidence. Now the onus of keeping Ruby behind bars will be on others, the public.... These traumatized kids may even feel compelled to step up when they have enough on their plates.

That’s good for you, but some people get surgery because they genuinely want to feel better about something they just don’t like the look of. It’s not a competition. Being influenced to get surgery done suggests more work needed on boundaries, not a reflection of cosmetic surgery. Wild to me how people want to hate on plastic surgery when they don’t seem to realize the same doctors doing breast implants are the ones doing implants on women who have had cancer and lost their breasts or working on a kids face after she’s been attacked by a dog.

It is really hard to get out of a mission. They even leave in kids who are very depressed and want to go home. I also imagine it's better for them to stay away from prying eyes and all the haters. It has to be incredibly hard to be the parents of a nationally recognized criminal.

As a kid who faced some similar crimes back in the 90s, but add in sexu@l @buse. I'm STILL not ok. I'm not. I hate it when people say you came out the other side, you're alive so you fine. No, I'm not. Mentally I'm forever screwed. I do see both a therapist and Psychiatrist regularly, and that helps tremendously...but you have to stay on top of it. Keep going. Not just for the court recommended amount.
