This is a remarkable 2-part series. The spectacular Trouve Tout bookshop, far away from all urban centres, is a prime example of “if you build it, they will come.” Thank you, Lieven, for investing your skills and time in the promotion of book culture. It’s a worthy enterprise.
Great reportage, great finds! Bravo! Another great independant bookstore in a small village of southern France is "Le Bleuet" in Banon, in the eastern part of le Lubéron, in Provence. They do have an English Books section; it is such a large bookstore they have all the sections you can imagine, including I am sure German- and Dutch-language books & more ;-)

I also like how you show how each one fits into the larger context of the town, etc. I'm very much enjoying your channel. I've re-watched the book burning one and I've continued to get insight from it. I had this odd habit on visiting used book stores, which I tend to prefer over new book stores. Why do I prefer used over new books? I like the idea of recycling, and I feel I am more likely to find cast off, or maybe passed along treasures of other readers. When I visited used book stores in my home city, I would look for a copy of one book, and when I found a copy (which I did a number of times), I bought a copy, knowing I would give it to someone I thought would appreciate the book. The book? The Glory and the Dream, by William Manchester, which I have read twice, and will read again. To me, it was a magical book to read as a 25 year old, and I'm confident it will hold the same magic when I read it again as... let's say, a 75 year old... but I have a few years to go yet, and something to which to look forward. 😎
