@111,178 views and 111 comment I was 19 when Singapore became independent and by the grace of God I belong to the generation that saw our country developed in a way that surpasses all imagination. As a teacher I can draw the anology of achieving 100 % passes for my class but thereafter to maintain that achievement or to value add with more distinctions would be a gigantic task. That is where Singapore will be facing the next 50 years. Kishore has done the most important job of drawing this task to the attention of all of us

They are a trading community from the Indian sub continent and we're predominantly in the Sindh area ( present day Pakistan ) and many of them migrated to India as they could not see themselves integrating with a Islamic nation and Sindhi's are a minority ever since wherever they are.

.Historians are good for writing books about what engineers, doctors. scientists and others achieve. Wonder if like scientists express concerns, engineers safety of structure, philosophers pessimism ?

We will not survive if we cannot seize the opportunity of being an Asian city to hang on to euro-centric mentality but miss the opportunity.

I think Singapore will be in big trouble if it continues to follow western world and USA democracy and human rights. It needs to be changed. Better Follow Great China style of democracy and human rights.

Did China win? Has China lost? Singapore can of course survive. Return to Malaysian sovereignty as a correction of history and human error.
