QB Arch Manning is listed as an ESPN top 10 player regardless of class and he made his ESPN debut as Newman took on in state rival Booker T. Washington.
@@gamedemon89 he’s related to such a big family name in football history, that when he decided he was gonna play football, that was gonna come with it. He knows this. It is not a bad take
Eh. The targeting was Bs. But there is a lot of pressure at this level and every level to protect players. Better to call it than everyone get on him for allowing a targeting in national TV
@@richsolo7264 ...yes ...you idiot... but everyone keeps on commenting on his athletcism which eli and peyton and archie are not known for ..he got that from his dad and go the qb skills from the rest
they play just not during plays as you’re not allowed to and you’ll rarely hear them during highlight films, they blow air horns and cattle bells during big plays/touchdowns (most high schools do this)
Well, at the very beginning of their first series, they said that BTW's QB played TE last year "just to get him on the field". So that probably indicates that he's more of an athlete than quarterback. Which is what happens at smaller public schools, sometimes you have to put your best athlete at QB.
Arch is a good kid too, from the interview I've seen of him he seems very humble and down to earth. If it wasnt for his last name you would think hes just another HS football star.
This is true it is normally the name of schools in poorer areas in bigger cities, but no joke they always bring the physical prepare for a we will beat you up all game and break you if we aren't as skilled type of game.
I think there was no one was suppose to really hit him. Because toward the end of the game the defense player had an easy open field tackle for a lost and he hesitated and stopped. He allowed Arch enough time to throw the ball. It was like I want to hit him but I could get in trouble.
This is awful advice. First he’s already loaded. Second strike while your draft stock is highest, you can go to college at any age but there is a small window for the nfl.
"DeVon Tott hudl" one of Louisiana's finest, Arch is good for 10th grade and in a 2A division, but for big boy Louisiana football 5-6A check out DeVon Tott hudl, awesome QB starting since a freshman as well, sitting on a high school record of 8 td passes and over 600 yards in 3 qtrs because they took him out end of 3rd qtr....
Wow this game was interesting. Newsome was greatly undersized compared to BTW. Some of those guys could not be stopped . But skill , finesse , and coaching overcame
No one picked up that the player of the game is Sterling Scott. A few years ago a RU-vid comedy group created videos centered around a player named Scott Sterling.
The fact that arch looks more like a dual threat. He’s athletic and damn no wonder all the college went after him. But can’t wait to see if he lives up to his famous uncles legacy
Imagine playing high school football on ESPN. Hell, we thought we was big shots when they replayed the game at 7 am Saturday morning on the local TV channel in such horrible definition that you couldn’t see the numbers haha
If South Panola were nationally-ranked and squared up with, say, Wayne County or another strong program down there, I could see that. Or if Walter Nolen (#1 DT in '22) had returned to Olive Branch, that'd be more likely.
