I wonder if anybody will ever realize how overblown this narrative is. First off Newman is a 2A school..they don’t have enough players to compete with most of our 4A and 5A teams down here. And secondly this DLS team is a good team. There’s at least a couple kids w/D1 offers on this defense and this program was in one of the championship games down here just a couple years ago. They were ranked 10th in the state in 3A going into week one and scored 50-something points against a team from Mississippi

They didn't even play bad tho..they just didn't have their timing in the passing game down yet. And Newman had TD drives of 40, 15 and 53 yards after short punts. I don't see how that's the coaches fault..kicking game is a problem for like 80% of high schools lol
