Bookings not syncing with Outlook Calendar [FIXED]

This tutorial solves the issue when your Outlook calendar is not synced with Bookings. As a result, scheduled appointments in your Outlook calendar do not affect the booking slots available in Bookings so people are able to book slots with you during times that you may be busy or you simply want a break.

Thank you this helped me. Not sure what had happened but mine were syncing when first setup and had stopped working. This helped to get it going again.

You are amazing! i have been trying to figure this out all day and grew frustrated when I saw the Microsoft site had questions about this going back 5 years and no solutions were provided by Microsoft but attempts by people responded to others with workaround. None seemed to be an actual fix though. I tried several times to change this setting from the desktop application with no luck. I should state that my online application showed that I already published my calendar but I had to unpublish it and republish it from the online application. Thank you!

Still having a problem if I manually add some times, then it takey few hours to get them shown in the Booking app

This video seems to be what i have been looking for as I am a shift worker so my availability changes daily.....sometimes I'm free after 4pm, other days after 5pm, for 1-2-3- hours, other days I'm not free at all, and on days off, I'm free all day 9pretty much)........so it looks like your video may have saved me.......will see how I go over the next few days setting it all up......more learning to do lol

Hey mate! I have another personal email and a "shared mailbox" I use to plan personal and other business enquiries, accordingly. Is there any way to sync these calendars? I am basically one man with one schedule operating under 3 email addresses and MS bookings.

Wonderful video but my issue is with the date range not showing entirely on my booking. Only the first and last day of the selected date range shows available for booking but not between those dates.

sounds like you have a set up issue. here is a playlist i have on bookings. It contains a tutorial on Bookings and Bookings Personal ru-vid.com/group/PLWeerq9oa1ne2OkZnpXGUHAxmMuyOT0GR This should help you resolve your problem. Choose the tutorial according to the booking page you are using.

Tried this. No joy, unfortunately. I'm trying to synch my teaching timetable across to a shared booking page. I can get the times I teach to show on my calendar but not in bookings so I'm going to end up double-booked. I followed your instructions but it made no difference for me.

@@paphitisn after walking back through my entire set up. The shared booking page was not in the correct time zone. Problem solved 👍🏾😁

I have a few calendars in my organisation, each is shared with respective team members - the Bookings won't synchronize though, it does not see any of the appointments. I cannot find any solution for that... Your's is also not working :(

I need a bit more detail. Bookings is not able to see appointments already in calender and is allowing people to book when there is already another appointment? Ease explain in detail what you have done what is seeing what and what isnt so that i can visualize the issue.

@@paphitisn exactly. I have calendars for meetings, deadlines and other stuff - some of the events are whole day events. In calendar settings each calendar is shared with my staff with an ability to make changes within. But despite that bookings does not synchronize with neither of them. I thought it was an admin settings issue but cannot find any reference to that

@@marcinbaranowski3797 in bookings go to staff and find the staff member whose calendar entries are not being seen by bookings. Edit the staff member and make sure to: 1- tick the box "Events in Office calendar affect availability" 2- disable the slide for "Use business hours" 3- set the days and times that the staff is available for each day now if the staff member is available on Monday from 9:00 - 17:00 but has something int eh calendar from 13:00 - 15;00 then the availability in bookings will not include the hours between 13:00 and 15:00 Let me know if this works for you

@@paphitisn it worked partly - now I can see the user(admin) is busy in the bookings calendar but it refers only to personal calendar (a meeting another user organised and which belongs to personal calendar, whereas bookings does not see a different full day event the day before also from the personal calendar while it should mean the user is busy the whole day and no bookings can be made).

@@marcinbaranowski3797 Bookings will only recognise entries which are scheduled in the personal calendar. It can not see entries that worker is booked in other calendars, even if they are shared. Instead of shared calendars book staff directly with their account so that the entries are registered in their personal calendar.
