Much like in Hades 1, pomming 1 boon a ton and ignoring everything else is not a solid strategy if you just want a strong run lol.

Thank you doing this run, ik there probably aren't really many people doing this run and i'm sure you could easily beat my 44 but i've never done anything like noteworthily good in a game so this was so exciting for me i like almost threw up

nah, Lvl 2 Aphro alone does not beat 745 Blitz. like, let's assume a bad case for Blitz. Attacks only, with Fury. combo is 40+80+160 base, with Fury, it's 52+104+208. with Aphro Lvl 2 Epic, not sure what % that is, 140%? Lvl 1 is 120%, but let's just assume 200% for Lvl 2 for the luls. the combo is now 132+264+528. an increase of 560. let's assume worst interpretation of Blitz, which I'm pretty sure is the actual. the hit that applies the curse does not start counting, so the 40 hit is nothing. 2nd hit is 104, so not enough to proc. then the 208 hits and procs, dealing 745 (968 after Fury?). even if there's delay in the Blitz procing after reaching threshold and you can do the first hit of combo before you're allowed to reapply, that doesn't matter because second hit can reapply and third can proc again anyways but yea, Blitz is still flawed. the more you overproc, the less effective Blitz is and not counting applying hit weakens further

@GoXDS You're ignoring all the other ways you can add to attack power. Aspect, chaos, hammers, other boons, infusions, etc. I was doing almost 2000 damage per attack with an aspect of Mel axe build and it wasn't anything unusual.

@@yadamspiezer sure, but you specifically said Lvl 2 Aphro only, so it wouldn't be a fair comparison if you don't assume that for Zeus as well. even then, a lot of those effects also are additive to Aphro so Aphro doesn't actually get stronger from most of what you listed. so you can't compare total number against just Blitz, you'd have to consider difference in power if you removed Aphro compared to Blitz. that's why I got 560 as difference due to Aphrodite in my calc, not 743 as another example, if we added Huntress and Origination (50% and 50% each), boonless combo with the three Arcana is +130% already, so it's 92+184+368. with Aphrodite Lvl 1, it's 140+280+560, a difference of 336. without any Arcana, 88+176+352. difference with base 40+80+160 is also 336. only way to skew results towards Aphro is via Power, of which there are not many sources and there are not enough for you to benefit Aphrodite to beat 745 Blitz. the only way Aphrodite Lvl 2 specifically is stronger than Lvl 37 Blitz is if you hit really, really hard on applying hit and really really hard on the proccing hit, so Hell splitter's 300 Power.

@GoXDS You've done the math, so I'll trust you. I'll just leave it at blitz doesn't ever feel worth it, compared to other options.
